I've recently had a few requests about ankle boots so today I thought I'd share with you my top picks from the high street. Needless to say there are lots of wonderful offerings out there & I could have included a lot more than I have but I've tried to condense it as much as I could & kept with ones I can see working for day or evening.
So jumping straight in with this block heeled Chelsea boot from Boden. A lovely classic design that's sure to come out to play year on year. With a sensible heel that yes is quite high but think of the lengthening of your legs ladies! Plus being block heeled it means its do-able for daytime. I could quite happily have one of all three colours please!
These next ones from Zara are also very similar but at a much more purse friendly price.
Sadly they only do the above ones in black but these navy ones also look fab & again a lot cheaper than the Boden ones.
Keeping with high heels if you want a more neutral colour that has a little bit of detailing then these Mint Velvet boots look perfect. I'm totally loving the crossover straps.
Or a little plainer & in slate grey then these Zara boots are lovely & may have already found a home in my wardrobe :-0
If however, you want more of a mid-heel boot then there's lots of stunning ones to choose from starting with these ones from Boden who really seem to have upped their shoe game. I'm loving the suede & leather detailing paired against the wooden heel. The question is which of the four colours would you choose?!
Or how about their Boho boot. You may recall that I was sent the navy pair last year & can truly vouch for how fab these boots are. Super comfy, a sturdy heel (always a plus if like me you can trip over anything!) & a great height for day or evening. I have literally walked miles in mine & my feet have still been talking to me at the end of a long day.
Or for a cheaper version these ones from John Lewis look lovely.
Moving onto the kitten heel next with this Insolia boots from Marks. Naturally you're not going to be surprised to hear I'm loving the animal print.
Or for a flatter heel then these reptile effect boots from Alice Temperley are amazing. How stunning would these look teamed with a simple outfit such as jeans, blazer & classic white shirt?!
Back to Boden with this next one. Again a boot I can vouch for & a style that's perfect for teaming with trousers, dresses or skirts.
Or if you fancy just a nod to Bet what about these leopard print heeled black boots?!
Or finally for a great classic you can't go wrong with tan as they're simply going to go with everything. I just love the shape of these from Zara - timeless.
Back to today & we're off out for lunch with family to celebrate my Mum's birthday so I'm bring my new H&M dress out for it's first outing & teaming it with my ever useful M&S biker.
