Time for my monthly confessions & I have to say I don't think I've done too badly - which of course is helped by the fact that not only have we had Christmas but I've also had a birthday too.
So what have I been buying, well first up this grey thick knit polo neck from Zara. This is just the most gorgeous shade of grey so will go with most things in my wardrobe & is going to be super useful - dressed down with boyfriend jeans & trainers or teamed with culottes & block heeled ankle boots. Seriously it's even nicer in the flesh & I didn't even need to try this on to know it wasn't leaving my side !
I also couldn't resist this frayed tweed top. For me this just screams Chanel & timeless elegance so yup it was bought in an instant!
Next up another gilet :-0 which I think means I can safely say I'm sorted for life now on the gilet front but these beauties are such a steal & so incredibly warm. I'm finding them very useful, so much so that I couldn't resist this navy version.
And finally a couple of sneaky Marks purchases, firstly these wide legged classic trousers in the perfect shade of grey.
And this stunning faux leather maxi skirt which I managed to get at 50% off :-)
Back to today & I'm bringing out my new wide legged trousers to play.
Coat - Wallis
Necklace - Zara
Shirt - Topshop
Trousers - Marks & Spencer
Trainers - Marks & Spencer
Coat - Marks & Spencer £199
Necklace - Marks & Spencer £18
Shirt - Topshop £29
Trousers - Marks & Spencer Now £19
Trainers - Boden £69.50
So ladies apart from sales (as we all know they don't count ;-0 ) what's got you 'clicking the button'?
As always I'd love to know.
See you in the morning.

Love your new purchases...especially the trousers. I really admire your color combos around the color gray; especially gray with navy. Jane, what is the brand of the silver watch that you are wearing in today's photo? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Deborah, I'm afraid I'm a real sucker for grey & blue in my wardrobe. I'm looking forward to styling the trousers with a cropped jacket. The watch that I'm wearing in today's post is a Cartier.

Hola from Madrid!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm enjoying seeing what you've been buying in the sales! Unfortunately Zara & Mango here have only got the "dregs" remaining but I discovered a lovely shop called "ese o ese"! I managed to spend a good hour or so in here and a good few euros!!! Check it out online! Julie x
Hola Julie :-) I hope you're having a wonderful time in Madrid. I've just had a look at Ese O Ese & it looks like a great brand that I will definitely be looking to see if they have a store when I'm next over in Majorca.
DeleteEnjoy your break.

Love the blue of the shirt you're wearing. Looks a completely different colour on my browser. Might have to treat myself - have been looking for a blue shirt!
ReplyDeleteIt's really love Suzy & has a slight herringbone pattern to it. A great weight & soft fabric plus it's also available in white!

Hia Jane. Looking lovely as usual! Stylish or what? Just one quick question. Are wide leg trousers making a comeback? Everything I see in fashionable stores seem to be skinny or slim leg. Just trying to keep on trend. Thanks for all your inspirational posts.Gaynor.
ReplyDeleteHi Gaynor there's definitely more wide legged trousers around than there used to be. I think generally any style goes at the moment & I just fancied a change & love the idea of dressing them down with trainers. If you like the style then try a few pairs on & see how you feel.
