Yup it's that time of the month again, so what have I been buying? Well this lovely breton from H&M which is a gorgeous thickness & weight. Plus the zip detailing on the side makes it a little bit less ordinary. Also available in black on white if you're interested here, which I may have also purchased! Plus if you use code 6413 you can currently get 10% off plus free standard delivery!
Plus this red one.
And this off white & red one too! Again a really great price & for the money the fabric is a great weight & it's also available in several different colours! I think it's safe to say I'm covered on the breton stripe front for Spring!
Now this next shirt from Zara they've done the past two seasons in different colour ways & I just love it. So naturally I've had to get this khaki version. Perfect with denim & leopard print as I wore recently for an afternoon/evening out with the girls.
And finally a couple of pairs of trousers. First off these faux leather biker trousers - I've ummed & ahhed over these for a while but in the end I just couldn't resist & reckon the zips add a bit of interest when teamed with a classic top.
And secondly these skinny frayed edge jeans.
Back to today & I'm layering up some black & grey with a statement silk scarf for a splash of colour.

So ladies anyone care to join me in the confession box?!! Come on you know you want to ;-)
See you tomorrow.
You bought great pieces in January! I LOVE stripes and always have to stop whenever I see anything striped because my instinct is to buy it! Your tops are great! And I love the Zara shirt; I have a similar one and love it! And I have been admiring the faux leather biker trousers, too! But I have faux leather leggings and couldn't really justify them. But whenever I see them they pull on my heart...
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrea, I think after this month my stripe addiction is taking over my wardrobe but they're just so useful aren't they?!
DeleteAs for the biker trousers I put off buying them as like you I've got leather leggings & some pain faux leather trousers but I have to admit I'm loving the extra detailing on these...you should give them a try #enabler ;-)

Fab pieces, I love that grey cardi/coat, so smart yet relaxed. Love Zara's khaki shirt too, it's currently sat in my basket online. I'v recently bought a Puma sweat from Asos, a blue/white Breton & some boyfriend jeans from Gap. Now I have my eyes on some Metallic footwear for summer!
ReplyDeleteHeidi x
Heidi I've found the Zara coat so useful & a great alternative to a blazer. You should definitely click on that khaki shirt as the cut/detailing is spot on & have you seen they're now doing the coat in navy at nearly half price?!
DeleteLoving the sound of your new purchases & metallic footwear for summer is a definite must as they go with everything.

Love that khaki shirt Jane, I need to spend some time in Zara, I miss it! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Natalie, it's one of those wardrobe classics that's never going to date.

Hi Jane - love those Zara biker trousers. I may have to give them a try. I'm sure they did a similar version last year?
ReplyDeleteAs always looking fab & always enjoy your blog. Allison xx
Hi Allison & thank you lovely lady :-)
DeleteYou would so rock the Zara bikers you must definitely give them a try. Hope you love them.

Great buys Jane! You'll be well stocked in Bretons for Spring! They're just so useful though. Can I ask is the h&m one you featured white with navy or black stripes? It doesn't say on their website. Thank you : ) x
ReplyDeleteThanks Juanita & yes I don't think I'll be needing any more bretons for Spring - although never say never ;-)
DeleteI've just had a look at my breton & would say it's a very dark navy - hope this helps.
