Morning ladies, today I thought I'd share with you a fab H&M blouse that has found a new home in my wardrobe. A great little find that not only is a classic, it's extremely versatile & a complete steal too :-)
So first up here's the said blouse. The fabric is crinkled so perfect for those of us who hate ironing not to mention ideal for packing & has a very fine blue & white stripe, which reminds me of seersucker fabric.
Just to show you the fit I've taken a quick couple of photos below. Whilst the style is a loose fit after trying on my normal size (8) & the 10 I decided to size up as I just preferred how it fell.
For me this kind of shirt makes a great alternative to a denim shirt & is ideal for breathing new life into our winter wardrobes whilst we wait for Spring but also perfect for layering with gold chains & white cigarette pants come the summer.
Here's just a few ways I'm planning on styling my new blouse.
Blouse - H&M £14.99
Jeans - Mint Velvet £79
Blouse - H&M £14.99
Jacket - Mango £79.99
Trousers - Boden £69.50
Blouse - H&M £14.99
Shorts - Fat Face £40
Hat - John Lewis £35
Sandals - Kurt Geiger £150
As you can see this style of top is very versatile. So much so I'm thinking of perhaps 'clicking the button' on some of these other high street beauties as I've already got other outfit ideas bubbling away.

In fact H&M are on a roll at the moment as these little beauties also came home with me!
For someone who generally doesn't do patterns I just love the idea of this teamed with cut off skinny jeans & a pop of red. I sized up again in this top as I preferred the looser fit.
Now this next top is just STUNNING - again I sized up as it's a little shorter in length than I would prefer but going up in size has helped. The frills on this are just gorgeous & teamed with some cigarette pants & simple accessories this will make a perfect outfit for summer.
A style that made a real revival last year was off the shoulder tops & it's a style that's certainly here to stay for this summer to. So this t-shirt material little number with the added bonus of pom pom trim was always going to get a new home!
Finally this cheeky scarf that's a complete steal for the money & a lot larger than you would expect from the image below. Perfect for adding some interest to the simplest of looks - jeans & a classic white shirt & you're good to go!
Back to today & I'm going with a neutral theme & finishing the look off with my ever useful Zara wool throw on coat.
Coat - Zara
Shirt - Zara
Necklace - ASOS
Jeans - Zara
Boots - Zara
Coat - Zara £39.99
Shirt - Bruce Oldfield £79
Boots - Dune £95
So what do you think ladies, is this a style top that gets you wild in the aisles? If so how do you style yours? I don't know about you but I just love the laid back fit & style & it instantly reminds me of summer. Plus can you ever go wrong with whites & blues in the sunshine.
So anyone else had any success with H&M recently? I don't know about you but it's the kind of shop I can either go in & see nothing or come out with an armful of goodies!
Finally Marks & Spencer have got a special promotion on today with up to 20% off most items - see here for details.

It is a versatile shape. Please H&M more colours. Just in two blues. It would be great in cream, white or mocha too wouldn't it.
ReplyDeleteOoh yes more colours would be great Anna, although also lethal ;-)
