Celebrity Style Steal & WIWT

Morning ladies it's time for this month's celebrity style steal & today I thought I'd have a go at stealing Natasha Poly's style (yup another person I'd not heard of before - if you're interested she's a Russian model).  Naturally being a model everything is going to look great on her but what struck me most about this outfit was it's not only something that would work for most people, it's also a great way of getting use out of our summer clothing on days when the weather isn't playing ball!

So without further a do here's the look that caught my eye & got me thinking.

Natasha Poly

How gorgeous is this look.  I just love the floatiness of the maxi dress hardened up with the studded sandals & biker jacket.  Now the colour of Natasha's dress isn't a colour that would work for my skin tone so I'm whilst I've re-created her look with finds off the high street I've chosen a more neutral shade that will hopefully appeal to more of us.

So if you're loving this look as much as me, here's my take.

Back to today & I thought I'd have a go at creating a similar look with pieces that are hanging in my wardrobe.

So what do you think is this a look you're loving & wear?  Such an easy & simple outfit that looks effortless & stylish, it's certainly a look I hope to rock on a regular basis, as I don't know about you but it would be lovely to be able to wear my maxi dresses a little bit more & not only when the sun shines.

Don't forget it's the last day to take advantage of Boden's latest offer - 30% off everything in their holiday shop for all the family.  Simply click here & using code 4A4N.

    1. Thanks Sue it's such an easy style to replicate isn't it....if this weather continues I might be re-creating this look with some more dresses so beware!

  3. Jane,
I like your take much better. The model's version--blush pink with the black--a bit too jarring. And truly, I think maxis are tricky business for mere mortals. Here in the US, it's the official uniform of the drop-off and pick-up line, and I think they rarely work.

Your midi version is more balanced, more modern, looks less confused than the other look. More classic, more real and more chic.

  6. I love your take. I'm a fool for stripes. Her original look is a bit on the boho side. I prefer your crisper look and the touch of leopard in the sandals! Now, I have to get up every morning. Would you mind stopping by to help me get dressed? I'll provide tea or coffee and scones iF you need to be bribed.
