Morning ladies it's my 'baby's' 17th birthday today so an early start for us with the traditional birthday canon wake up call, which scattered a mountain of brightly coloured tissue paper across the room. Followed by a quick birthday breakfast & opening of pressies before he had to dash off to catch his train to work - where have the years gone?!!
So in celebration of me being a very proud mummy for 17 years I thought it perfect timing to break out a sales purchase from Hush that I'd been trying to resist all season & just couldn't resist any longer!

So birthday celebrations continue this evening as we're meeting from work in Birmingham for pre-dinner cocktails before a meal out. Then of course it's the start of the dreaded driving lessons & worrying when they've passed their test & are out on their own....no doubt a few more grey hairs will be appearing when we're at that stage ;-)

Aww thanks Karen. It's frightening how the years fly by. We were reminiscing last night & it only seems an second ago when I held him for the first time.
DeleteStill I'm loving sharing all the various stages of life with him & long may it continue. I think this age is my favourite as you can share so many more experiences together & of course they become a best friend too.
