As for travelling lighter I could easily have managed on just the one pair of flip flops & perhaps one less pair of sandals. Accessories wise I took a lot less jewellery than I have in previous years & found that you don't really need that many necklaces/bracelets just a few that can be intermixed. From a clothes point of view again if pushed perhaps a couple of less dresses but hey when do you get the opportunity to know that you can wear your summer clothes every day of the week without worrying if the sun is going to shine?!
Back to today & we're planning a quiet one with an afternoon on the sofa enjoying a film or two before reality kicks back in with back to work tomorrow. So I'm keeping things pretty simple & teaming a pair of skinny jeans with a simple Zara top & skinny star scarf.
