Morning ladies, so whilst we're enjoying the last precious few hours of our holiday in Majorca & trying to smuggle the sun into our suitcase I thought it would be the perfect time to share with you some of the pictures I took at the Marks & Spencer press day.
Now I've always been a loyal M&S customer - you can't beat their food hall can you & I'm loyal to the brand in terms of my undies but over the past couple of years I seem to have been purchasing more of their clothing to.
In the past there's been the odd gem that I've just had to get, which like I've said has been increasing over the past couple of collections but I think when you have a look at the below pictures you'll agree next season looks to be a goodie!
Starting with an Autumn classic of camel & who can resist a timeless camel coat - perfect for dressing up or down & sure to go with all the neutrals in your wardrobe. Whenever I see a camel coat paired with a classic white shirt, jeans & leopard print heels it gets me every time.
Talking of leopard print as you can see below it's not going anywhere next season & Marks have even incorporated it into their lingerie & nightwear :-)
Of course with Autumn fast approaching it's soon going to brace ourselves for the launch of sparkles a plenty as Christmas won't be far behind. I just love this sequin skirt below, dress up as shown or pair with a classic black silk shirt for a timeless statement or even dress down with a denim shirt & trainers - the options are endless.
Then of course there's accessessories & a bit like Clarks you can rely on Marks for making stylish, well made, comfy shoes. So hello pretty metallic Gucci-esque look a likeys not to mention the Bet-tastic trainers.
I'm loving the idea of pairing my biker with a lace maxi as shown below & lace together with brocade both look set to be big for AW16.
Another trend not going anywhere is ruffles & I just love this red jumper. Perfect for brightening the dreariest of winter days.
And what about the monochrome dress - it instantly reminded me of something Victoria Beckham would wear.
As I mentioned above ruffles are still huge & I just love this denim shirt.
And the timelessness of the khaki drape top & skirts shown below have a real designer feel.
Loving the idea of midi pencil skirts too. Gosh it almost makes you want to fast forward to crisp sunny Autumnal days with the crunch of dried leaves underfoot.
Finally if you missed out on a military coat last winter check out this beauty.....but be warned stock is running low in some sizes!!!! You can't beat a military coat & seeing as I love my Wallis navy one so much this beauty has just been ordered for our delivery on our return ;-)
However, seeing as we're about to leave our 'happy place' I'd like to hang onto the blue skies, scorching temperatures & just that whole holiday laid back kind of vibe just a while longer.
Here's what I'm wearing for our journey home.
So ladies what do you think of what Marks & Spencer has in store for us next season? Do you see anything to tempt you? I know there's a few items on my wish list which will see me stalking their website in the coming weeks.
Right off to top up that tan before it's too late. Have a great day & I'll be back in the morning.
M&S has a fabulous collection this season. I am in love with all their leather. Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately our Marks doesn't stock much.
ReplyDeleteThey really do have an amazing collection don't they Sophia. A huge store has recently opened by us so it's proving to be lethal...although thank goodness for online shopping when they don't have your size or if like me you might have placed a sneaky order whilst on holiday ;-)

Ive just been to pick up the bronze loafers today but they were quite a large fit so ended up swapping them for a smaller half size in the black mix, which is actually more like a very deep burgundy.
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough I ordered these whilst on holiday so have just received mine & I've gone down half a size to, although that can generally be the case for me with their shoes. They didn't have the bronze ones in my size so have kept the black mix ones but I've justed noticed the bronze are now back in stock so I may just have to give these a try as they're really comfortable & the bronze colour would go with everything. Also with the block heel & width of the shoe I think these are going to prove very useful over the coming months.
DeleteAre you tempted by the bronze ones as well?
