New Into Store & WIWT

Morning ladies, well I think it's safe to say that despite the fact we're having a mini-heat wave (please let it last for Bank Holiday weekend!!) AW16 stock is arriving at an alarming rate both into store & online.  And whilst I'm still in the throws of catching up from our holidays (not sure how we've generated so much ironing!) I have of course made time for a spot of retail browsing & maybe the odd purchase ;-) (which I promise to report back on soon!).  However, in the meantime I thought I'd share some of my favourites pieces with you today as there's just so many eye catching goodies around (just click on above images for more details).

I don't know about you but I'm really feeling the love for all things neutral of the black, white, blue & grey variety, which is handy as it means anything in this colour range will slip nicely into my existing wardrobe.  And having enjoyed a fair bit of people watching on holiday & looking to see what others are wearing & how European ladies just have that edge in the style stakes I'm thinking it's all in the detailing - classic, stylish cut pieces that just have that edge & a little bit extra in the detailing department brought up to date with some key on trend accessories.....well that's the plan anyway ;-)

All of the above items are definitely on my wish list & with frills being an even bigger style statement this coming season I think a couple of extra additions in the knitwear & blouse/shirt department are a must.  With of course a splash of pattern of the stripe/leopard print variety sure to be added too.  I just love the look of the stripe jumper I've featured with the buttons for that added extra in the detailing, not to mention the stunning frilled collar & cuff shirt - just perfect for wearing under a tailored jacket & don't even get me started on the light grey blazer - timeless & elegant - what more could we want?!

However, before I get too carried away with all things Autumn, back to today & seeing as the sun is set to shine again I'm enjoying wearing some of my summer clothes that little bit longer, including this flounce skirt from Zara that I'm also planning on teaming with cashmere come the cooler months.
