Morning ladies for this month's style steal I thought this outfit worn by Gemma Arterton would be perfect for recreating & wearing during this trans-seasonal weather. After all who doesn't love a spot of denim & stripes & it's also probably a look most of us can re-create with similar-ish pieces already hanging in our wardrobes. Plus come the cooler weather simply swap the sandals for some block heel ankle boots.
So starting with the stripe jumper I've gone for a slight variation on the colour scheme & picked this stunning grey & black cashmere number. Whilst I know cashmere is so much more expensive than say a merino wool version, having invested in a few cashmere pieces last year I can honestly say the difference is huge. In fact it's something I'm definitely planning to invest more in this season as 9 times out of 10 last winter I reached for my cashmere jumpers - so much more cosy & warm not to mention soft & lovely to wear next to the skin. Trust me ladies I'd rather buy one cashmere jumper than several other knitted versions for the same price.
Now Gemma is wearing a cropped frayed flare in the picture but when I spotted these jeans on my recent travels I thought they'd make a fantastic alternative. High waisted, a darker denim so more flattering on the leg & smarter too so perfect for dressing up or down. Plus how gorgeous is the gold button detailing?!
Now you can't tell properly from the picture what style bag Gemma is using but I'm guessing it might be bucket shaped. So again I'm going off piste & think this leather shopper would make a much better purchase. Practical, leather & timeless in design plus super useful for fitting anything & everything we ladies carry around with us!
And finally for the shoes I just love the simplicity of the sandals Gemma is wearing & these high street alternative look a pretty good match. Plus they'd make great party shoes in the lead up to all the Christmas festivities!
Back to today & we've got my Aunt's 80th birthday party so I'm bringing out a new purchase of some navy wide leg trousers & teaming them with my H&M ruffle blouse for a simple & timeless look.

Have a fab day & I'll see you tomorrow.
