A Couple Of New Purchases + WIWT - Military, Lace & Sparkles

Happy Friday ladies. So before I share with you what I'm wearing I have a couple of new purchases to confess to, both of which are going to prove timeless additions.

Firstly this stunning twisted pearl necklace, which is perfect for adding a little bit of interest to the simplest of outfits. I'm planning on teaming mine with oversized & tailored shirts alike not to mention the odd bit of knitwear over the coming months & just because they're pearls it doesn't mean they can't be dressed down with jeans & trainers to!

Flannel Trousers

Then my second purchase are these tailored grey flannel trousers, which came up slightly longer in the length than shown in the picture, but a quick turn up of the hem has got them to where I want them to fall. Again a timeless staple that can be dressed up with block heel ankle boots or ballet flats but will equally look fab teamed with trainers & a leather biker, not to mention chunky knitwear come the winter.

So back to today & in celebration of the start of the weekend I'm bringing out one my military jackets & teaming it with a lace trim camisole, cigarette pants & sparkly flat ballerinas.
