Morning ladies today I want to introduce you to a fairly new brand that has recently come to my attention called LaBante who are stocked at House of Fraser.
Created in 2009 the brand has the ethos of 'fashion with respect' & design & produce bags & jewellery that are not only vegan friendly but environmentally friendly & ethnically produced. With the aim of giving 'consumers the experience of luxury, the finest craftsmanship of a timeless aesthetic, whilst respecting the world we live in'.
I've been lucky enough to have been sent their Cabriole Tote & whilst I know that these days it can be hard to tell the difference between faux & real leather, knowing that the bag had been PETA approved I have to admit I found it really hard to tell that it wasn't made from real leather as the quality & finish of the bag are spot on.
Available in both bordeaux & black & measuring 40cm x 36cm x 15cm I decided to pick the colour bordeaux as I just love this winter red teamed with all the neutrals of black, navy & grey. Plus I loved the contrast snake detailing on the handles which I felt stood out more in this colourway.
As you can see from the below picture there's plenty of compartments & pockets to keep the contents of your handbag nice & tidy & the large middle zip pocket means your valuables can remain nice & secure. Plus it also comes with a detachable shoulder strap for anyone needing to go hands free.
Or as shown in the below picture can even be worn over your shoulder.
As you can see in the above picture I'm using the bag today & I'm really impressed with the brand. Timeless designs, beautifully made that are ethnically produced makes it a win win for me.
In fact I'm already eyeing up a few more pieces from their latest collection, which I thought I'd share with you below.
As well as my new bag I also wanted to share with you a new beauty product plus a couple of great discount codes. Regular followers will know that I've recently started to add a few products from REN Skincare to my daily beauty regime (see here for full details). So when I was recently asked if I'd like to trial their Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask I didn't hesitate in saying yes.
Previously I've been using a clay face mask twice a week, which leaves my skin brighter & smoother but since recently reviewing my skincare I had started to think that I should probably only be using this once a week & had started to look at a different mask I could use alongside this. So you could say it was perfect timing when I received the Ren Skincare one through my letterbox :-)
So what it a Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask? Well if you look at Ren Skincare's website it is described as a 'potent bio active peel mask designed to renew the complexion, reduce the appearance of fine lines & drastically improve skin tone'. Sounds perfect doesn't it?!
As you can see from the above picture the mask is quite a clear thick consistency that contains glycolic acid, lactic acid, citric acid & tartaric acid all taken from fruit extracts to gently exfoliate & encourage cell renewal. As well as Omega 3 to repair, regenerate & prevent scarring, Omega 7 to repair & reduce chronic inflammation & Papain to exfoliate & reduce inflammation.
It smells gorgeous & as you can see above it is best applied generously to a cleansed face & neck, which should then be left for approximately 10 minutes.
As you can see the product really soaks into the skin & once ready to remove is easily removed by wiping off with the dampened cloth provided, followed by the rinsing your skin in warm water.
So what do I think of the product? Well the first thing I noticed was how smooth & bright my skin felt immediately after removal & yes possibly better in appearance to. It certainly seemed plumper & looked refreshed. I've only used the product a few times but I really do like the feel of it on my skin, so much so I've now added it to my weekly routine in the hope that it will impact my skin's appearance further. Plus I have to say I'm also liking the difference in texture & feel to my normal clay mask & am hoping that by using each of the two products once a week this will benefit me & they will work well together.
If you're on the look out for a new face mask REN Skincare currently have 30% off all face masks till the 31st of October. Just click here to take advantage of the offer & use code MASK30.
