Morning ladies, I don't know about you but I can't believe it's going to be the 1st of December tomorrow. The fact we're just over 3 weeks till Christmas Day means it really is time to seriously start getting everything ready. So after sharing my gift guides, today I thought it would be fun to look at Christmas decorations for the home.
Apart from having down time to spend with loved ones & Christmas Day itself, not to mention all the food treats & presents. One of the things I really enjoy doing is decorating the house & getting the Christmas tree up. I think most people will agree that Christmas is the time of year that our homes really come to life & I for one certainly love as many fairy lights as possible.
We generally don't put our decorations up until after my birthday (which is early December) but our son is always itching to get them out as soon as possible. So he was delighted when I received this beautiful Eucalyptus & Winterberry Garland from The White Company.
A mixture of winterberries, firs, frosted pine cones & branches this garland is perfect for dressing up any part of your home from the banister in your hallway, to adoring your fireplace or mantle piece or even down the centre of your dining table Christmas Day.
As you can see from the above pictures I have hung my garland in our hallway along the handrail of our banister, attaching it with red velvet ribbon that I bought from eBay here & then intertwined with these fairy lights. Although I was also tempted to hang it around the archway of our front door to create an ultimate festive welcome but in the end opted for the hallway so that I could enjoy its beauty too :-)
Talking of beauty there's a whole load of festive temptation over at The White Company, some of which I've featured below.
Plus if you love everything about The White Company as much as me you might be interested in the special 15% discount code I've been given to share with you. Large Glass Baubles - The ultimate Christmas tree bauble
Mercury Fluted Tealight Holder - perfect for lining up on your mantle piece
Star Fairy Lights - these would be ideal for weaving in between some tea light holders on the mantle piece

Knitted Snowy Penguin Decoration - I love a Christmas tree decorated with a few children's toys
Confetti Rockets - these have to be a Christmas Day & New Year's Eve 'must have'
Knitted Reindeer Decoration - ever tree needs to have at least one reindeer
Back to today & thinking all things Christmas has influenced my look as I'm throwing some metallic stars at today's outfit with this fab super thick Zara scarf, which I think may have now sold out as I can't find the link online.
Hat - John Lewis
Scarf - Zara
Breton - H&M
Tuxedo Jacket - Zara
Jeans - French Connection
Boots - Chloe
Hat - John Lewis
Scarf - Hush

It's a bit of a monochrome, pattern clash kind of hump day for me & I can highly recommend the Zara scarf if you mange to spot it in store as it's a real beaut for the money but if you can't find it & fancy something similar then the Hush one I've linked to above is similar just with smaller stars.
