Happy Christmas Eve ladies! Needless to say I'm MEGA excited about tomorrow, not to mention our plans for later & the build up to the big day but another event that's sure to get me excited is sales time!
Whilst alot of the sales have already started, one sale I always look forward to each season is The Dressing Room's 50% off sale, which actually starts at midnight tonight online here.
Now you may recall that I've previously worked with The Dressing Room on a few occasions & I can honestly say one thing that always strikes me about the boutique is the wide range of brands they stock, which often have that little bit of extra timeless detailing that I love & their service really is second to none. So naturally come sales time they're definitely one of the first brands I make sure I take a peek at. In fact I've actually been lucky enough to get an insider glimpse into their winter sale & have not only got my 'top picks' to share with you but I've also styled 3 pieces that would make great buys.
So let's crack on. Firstly here's a few actual styling ideas from items in The Dressing Room's sale.
Firstly this timeless festive red Ba&sh Eliet Top, which is of a loose, flare fit design with beautiful button detailing to the back. I've styled it below quite simply with my pleather 'A' line skirt & over the knee boots.
Top - The Dressing Room
Skirt - Marks & Spencer
Secondly this chic Tuxedo Jumpsuit from Great Plains, which whilst I've styled with a biker jacket & flats could so easily be teamed with a tuxedo jacket & heels for a more dressier look.
Biker Jacket - Zara, similar here
Jumpsuit - The Dressing Room
Clutch - Village England, or similar here
And thirdly these Hudson Compound Suede Boots, that feature a suede snakeskin effect design with a heel height of 4.5cm. Size wise I found these boots came up on the slighly large size so it might be worth comparing a couple of sizes or even downsizing but they're super comfy. I've gone for a casual look of teaming with a chunky knit & biker trousers - something that's just perfect for throwing on for busy day's like today.
Biker Trousers - Zara, similar here
Boots - The Dressing Room
Finishing with my top picks from their sale. I've chosen items which would all make great wardrobe additions, that are perfect for dressing up or down depending on the occasion but there's lots more available online here.

Back to today & we're up & at it early this morning as we're cooking our turkey ready for a late lunch of turkey & cranberry sandwiches with my mum & her fiancé (plus it's one less job tomorrow!) then we're all off out into Birmingham for cocktails, the pantomine & then back to the pub for a late dinner before welcoming in Christmas Day all together - whoop whoop!
Right I'd better get on but if you do manage to grab 5 minutes before all the excitement & festivities of tomorrow kick in, I'd definitely recommend you take at peek at The Dressing Room's website here. Plus if you're super organised you can pop the items you've got your eye on into your virtual shopping basket & then re-visit quickly anytime after midnight tonight to grab those bargains ;-) After all once us ladies get our eyes on the prize there's no stopping us is there?! Plus which one of us doesn't deserve a treat or two after organising, buying, wrapping & cooking everything for the big day ahead?! And with prices reduced by 50% it would be rude not to surely ;-)
Enjoy your Christmas Eve ladies & fingers crossed we all get a visit from Santa in the morning.
As always I'll post tonight's outfit on Instagram here & I'll be back in the morning with a quick post on what I'm wearing for the big day itself. In the meantime I've got my 'he's behind you's' to practice :-)
