Morning ladies today I wanted to take a look at Great Plains latest drop as there's some real timeless beauties. You may recall that I featured their earlier collection for the season here but there's already been a new release to add to the temptation!
I've picked my top 10 pieces from the new collection above but today I thought it would also be fun if I shared with you how I'd style each item, to help give you a little bit of inspiration & some food for thought for the coming months.
Now I've been lucky enough to have been allowed to pick a couple of pieces & after much consideration I decided to go with their Timed Out Tencel Culottes & Batwing Sleeve Oversized Shirt. Two timeless 'must have' pieces that will go with so many pieces in my wardrobe. The culottes in particular remind me of a similar pair that I bought in black last year that I found really useful last summer. Of course you never know until you try culottes on if they're going to be the right length & from looking at the picture online they did appear a little on the short side but luckily when they arrived they're perfect & not too wide either. In terms of sizing I'd say they're true to size & have gone for my normal size 8.
As for the shirt who can resist a stylish silk shirt & I just love the batwing sleeves on this, giving that extra detailing I have such a weakness for. Plus being oversized it's perfect for creating a relaxed vibe. And the best bit is the culottes & shirt are a perfect colour match so idea for giving the illusion of a jumpsuit as much as wearing separately. Imagine the shirt teamed with jeans & heels for a meal out. Or the culottes paired with a simple breton/white tee, trainers & denim jacket for a casual everyday look not to mention how I've styled it below with a biker. Like I say lots of possibilities, which makes both these items worth investing in as cost per wear they'll end up owing you nothing & like I mentioned earlier timeless so will never date.
