Trying To Resist + WIWT - Stripes & Denim

handm blouse with broderie anglaise

Morning lovelies.  Before I share what I'm wearing today, what do you think about the stunning broderie anglaise blouse above?!  Isn't it beautiful & so similar to the Isabel Marant one that was so popular last summer but you'll be glad to hear this beauty is a complete steal :-)  The question is do I 'click that button' or resist the urge as we all know I've got a fair few pretty white tops hanging in my wardrobe......the question is how many is enough?!!

Talking of pretty blouses, I'm dragging out another frilled blouse from last year for today's outfit.  In fact the more I think about it the more I'm tempted to investigate the one above as a pretty top & a pair of jeans really does make easy stylish summer dressing that I'll never tire of.

So for a simple Saturday of the usual errands & karate run I'm simply teaming it with cropped jeans & my red wedge sandals.

Is there anyone else struggling to get their heads round the fact that it's the 1st of July already?!  This year seems to be speeding past but on the plus side that means our holiday countdown can begin in earnest :-)

Enjoy your day ladies & I'll be back as always in the morning.

  1. Yes investigate. At that price you have to.
An update from my summer wardrobe revamp.
Black parisian maxi with red fowers asos. No good, too big in the bust and supposedly petite left would have been more suitable for someone 5 inches taller I kid you not. Oh and scratchy material which would have sent it back anyway.
Red maxi with white flowers big hit lovely fit not too long perfect for holidays.
Foil skirt perfect for holidays but sadly ridiculously long for me.

So, I saw the sandals you are wearing today and tried to buy your alternative but they were sold out too. Glad they were I then found rebel eyelet sandals in asos sale in red which look perfect. So I bought them.
Finally other stories. I have bought for me a very quirky clutch in the sale. Leather flower clutch. Do look it's amazing and I can't believe I bought something so unlike my usual style.

    1. Susan I'm blaming you, the 'button' has been clicked!! But like you say at that price it would be rude not to surely ;-)
As for your new purchases, that's such a shame that the black maxi was a complete let down but I bet you'll get so much use out of the red maxi & the sandals sound like they'll go perfectly. It's amazing how much a pair of red sandals really bring so many outfits to life - mine will definitely be coming away with me on holiday this year.
As for your new clutch - I've just taken a peek & it's stunning. The perfect accessory for creating a real statement & bringing the simplest of outfits to life - I bet you get lots of people commenting on it & asking you where it's from when you use it.
      Enjoy your weekend Susan.
      Jane xx
