Morning ladies & Happy New Year's Eve. If you're anything like me you've got a quiet day at home in preparation for the celebrations & welcoming in the New Year later this evening. So I thought it perfect timing to share this month's top ten under £50 buys. New pieces that will instantly breathe new life into our wardrobes without costing a fortune. Such as this camo trench that I'm also thinking could work as a wrap over dress, to heart inspired jumpers & tops that would be perfect for getting us in the mood for Valentine's Day, which will be with us before we realise it. To the most perfect oversized grey shirt & lace trim jumper. Not to mention a Bet-tastic grey loose knit that would be perfect for pairing with skinnies & leather leggings & a statement lace detailed skirt that just needs teaming with a biker for perfection. As always just click on any of the above images for all details.
Back to today & my oversized roll neck jumper I wore yesterday is so perfect for lazy days at home that I'm wearing it again today. This time teamed with some leather leggings & a splash of leopard print.

So what's everyone up to this evening to celebrate the start of the new year? We're off out & leaving our son in charge of Bailey & heading over the road with friends to spend the night partying at our village club along with an Elvis impersonator! Apparently he's supposed to be really good but regardless I'm sure we'll have a fab night. Although how it's the end of 2017 already I just couldn't tell you as this year has sped past at an alarming rate. I'll pop tonight's outfit on my Instagram page here & also on my Facebook page here, I'm currently trying to decide between two outfits but I think I know which one I'll go with.
However you're celebrating New Years Eve enjoy your evening & thank you so much for all your support during the past year. I'm still amazed at the following & lovely comments I get writing this blog, it really does blow me away so again thank you from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to continuing our fashion journey together into 2018.
See you tomorrow.

I've enjoyed logging in each and every morning. I'm now back loving my wardrobe and have finally found my style and confidence in what to buy and what will suit. Fashion is fun again. Now the wardrobe has been replaced it's looking for those missing or totally different items or that accessory or two that will make a good outfit great. Here's to another fun year. Hope Bailey loves his new brother. We had labs years ago never been able to bring myself to have more. So I just love my girls' rabbits to bits instead. I'll have a new lab one day I hope. I'll need a dog walking outfit then! Got to go seen a leopard print belt with my name on.
ReplyDeleteOh Susan thank you lovely. Yours & everyone who follows, likes, comments & reads by posts really does mean the world to me. I still have to pinch myself that I'm writing the blog & the opportunities it brings as it was so far outside my comfort zone when I first started.
Delete2018 is certainly going to get off to a busy start with two puppies (I think we'll be getting the second one towards the end of January) & whilst I'm a little anxious that we've done the right thing I know the rewards will be worth it once we've got them settled & trained. I totally understand how you feel about not being able to have more Labs. I initially said the same thing when we were going through the pain with Huxley but after a few days without him I just couldn't bear not having some more to love & I also knew it would help us heal as a family & move forward with new memories....even if at the time I didn't expect us to be having two!
Hope you've grabbed that leopard print belt - you'll wonder how you ever managed without it & you're totally right get the basics of your wardrobe complete then onto those accessories & statement pieces that will bring the wow factor.
Here's to continuing our fashion journeys together in 2018 & may it bring you & all your loved ones much joy, happiness, love & laughter.
