Morning ladies so today's the day we're adding to our family with another puppy! If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that when we collected Bailey we found out that the breeder has just delivered another litter of puppies we were very tempted to go for two puppies but also worried about whether it would be the right thing for us as a family. Well after a lot of discussion, lots of phonecalls & emails to the breeder & going from one decision to the next we eventually decided to just go for it. Sometimes you just have to listen to your heart & whilst we know it's going to be a lot of extra work & time we just know having a second puppy is the right thing for us. Thank you to everyone who offered an opinion & gave insight into their experiences, I'm sure it's going to be an adventure.
Needless to say we're all very excited, so much so I've hardly slept & am now counting down the hours till we collect puppy & introduce him to Bailey. I'll pop a picture or two on Instagram later of our new addition :-)

How exciting! We have two dogs also, an 8 year old and a 1 year old. When our one year old arrived as a puppy, it took our older dog a while to adapt to not being the "only" anymore... as he had been for so long. In hindsight, it would be nice to have two that are closer in age -- you are in the thick of training one dog, why not make it two? Plus, because it had been so long, I truly forgot how much work a puppy is. You know exactly how much work it is! I'm sure you will have lots of fun and these two will probably bond fairly quickly! Congratulations! (Great outfit by the way!)

After loosing Huxley we knew we wanted to have two in the hope that we're never without a dog again & when we started to think about training one then in a couple of years doing the same again we thought we might as well bite the bullet especially when we found out the breeder had a second litter due! Here's hoping it all goes to plan :-)
