Happy Monday ladies. I'm breaking out a new scarf today that was a lucky eBay buy & something I'd been stalking for a while, whilst patiently waiting for the auction to end. After watching it for over a week I almost missed out on the bidding but luckily remembered just in time to place a successful bid right at the last minute & won :-) Cue happy dance round the kitchen, especially as I managed to get it at a great price.

So in honour of my new wardrobe addition I'm channelling some Parisian Chic & styling the scarf with my breton & boyfriend turn up jeans.
Lots to do today so a day in trying to get ahead with my work load for the week, whilst not allowing Bailey & Chester to distract me too much ;-)
Enjoy your day ladies & I'll see you tomorrow.

That's a gorgeous scarf! Would it be possible to open it up and share a photo so we can see the entire pattern? Great way to style it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Brenda. I'll try to remember to share a picture of the full design when I next blog about it. If I forget please remind me!

Actually, the other thing I would be interested in knowing... when one goes to make a luxury purchase off ebay, do you have any tips and tricks to ensure that what you are getting is authentic? That is what makes me the most nervous...
ReplyDeleteIt's tricky isn't it Brenda & I have been caught out before with sellers saying its genuine & sending a different item to that pictured but luckily you're always covered with eBay & if you report it will get a full refund. To try & avoid getting caught I always go through the sellers feedback & also see what other items they are selling to get a general picture. Then I'll do some research on the item so I can try & tell that way. One site that is brilliant that I've also bought luxury purchases from is Vestiaire. There once the seller has agreed a sale they have to send it in to Vestiaire who will have one of their experts verify its authenticity so you know you're fully covered & have piece of mind.
DeleteI hope this helps.
