Morning ladies you may have noticed that Hush have recently had a new drop for SS18 so today I 'm taking a peek & sharing with you my top picks & as you'd expect there's lots to tempt us with that laid back effortless style they do so well.
From timeless knitted jackets that are perfect for teaming with jeans & a simple tee to knee length loose fit shirt dresses that can be worn with a biker jacket & ankle boots during cooler Spring days or trainers & a denim jacket once temperatures rise. Together with loose fit 'V' neck sleeveless tops that are perfect for dressing up a pair of jeans & heels for a night out & so very useful for wearing under a blazer. As well as knitted star jumpers, a splash of camo & statement accessories from a stylish panama to round woven baskets to glitter clutches & studded sandals there's lot to get us itching to 'click that button'. Including some gorgeous pops of colour including my current obsession green.

As I've just mentioned I have a new colour obsession - green (you have been warned, although I promise not to dress head to toe in it, anytime soon ;-) ) especially the shade of this knitted jacket that I was kindly sent from Hush. It's just perfect for pairing with all the navy, grey, black & white hanging in my wardrobe & injecting a splash of colour amongst all the neutrals.
In terms of fit I'm wearing an XS, which I would say is a UK 8 & due to the thickness of the fabric it falls beautifully & is warm enough to wear with a simple tee/cami. Plus the flecks of white help break up the boldness of the colour so if like me you're not used to wearing anything too bright then this will suit you perfectly. For it's first outing I've dressed it up with a lace camisole but it will equally look great with a simple tee or even paired with a pretty broderie anglaise blouse. Not to mention thrown over a summer white dress or worn to the office with cigarette pants & ballet pumps.
