Leopard Love + WIW - Dressing Up Time

Morning ladies & happy Sunday.

Now those of you that have followed me for a while will know I'm a huge fan of a splash of leopard print or 'Bet' after the famous Bet Lynch as I like to call it & I'm not alone in my obsession.  The good news for us leopard lovers is that it's big news for the coming season & a great way of adding a little bit of interest into a wardrobe full of classics.  Whether you just fancy dipping your toe in the trend with accessories - shoes, belt &/or bag or want to jump in with a bit of pattern clashing by teaming with stripes, there's something for everyone this season.

I've put together my top picks from accessories to dresses to leopard tops from the high street above.  As always simply click on any of the above links for all the details.  Although if you love leopard print & are looking for a statement knit then take a peek at this one - totally meant to include it in the selection above & then with all the excitement of wedding prep totally forgot!  So thanks to the lovely follower below who reminded me!

Back to today & we're up & out early (just before 8 o'clock!) as we're off to join our friends as they get married today.  To say I'm so excited is a huge understatement.  I love a wedding, not to mention the chance to dress up & the fact we've never been to a Sikh wedding before is particularly exciting.  So what to wear?  Well I stumbled across this beaut of a skirt on good old eBay & can you believe I was the only bidder so I got it for a snip of it's original price & at a cost of something off the main high street :-)  It's got an amazing separate net underskirt that makes me feel a little like one of those dolls that sit on top of a loo roll lol but I've decided to go for it.  Just got to hope I don't have to walk through any narrow corridors ;-)  I've also got a plain black cashmere wrap for when we're at the temple to cover my shoulders & head.

Will try & upload some pictures of the day as it progresses on Instagram here.  We've already been warned by the bride & groom not to have an empty glass at the reception as it will continuously be topped up!  Thank goodness it's Bank Holiday Monday tomorrow!

So ladies who's excited about all the leopard print around this season?  Have you seen or even 'clicked the button' on any new pieces yet?  If so I'd love to hear what's caught your eye.

Enjoy your Sunday & I'll see you in the morning.

  1. Hi Jane, have you seen the red jumper with the leopard print star by Hush? It's got your name all over it!

    1. Hi & yes I have & you've just reminded me I meant to include this in today's post but with all the wedding preparation forgot! Will add it now thanks so much for the reminder!
You're absolutely right it has my name all over it & if I didn't have something very similar that I got last winter in the sales I'd be clicking that button in an instant!
      Have a lovely weekend.

  2. Some fab pieces featured, thank you for this. I have always loved leopard print as it allows me to wear black ( which is otherwise not good with my colouring). Will start with the Autograph cashmere scarf/shawl from M&S from your link, and the courts from Boden
