Morning ladies, so there may have been a few recent purchases so I thought I'd jot them all down in a blog post, so you can see what's got me 'clicking that button'.
Starting with these statement sandals - yes I know it's not going to be sandal weather anytime soon but for a night out & going taxi to door then with these beauties on my feet my tootsies can withstand any level of cold ;-) As soon as I spotted them I just couldn't resist these Isabel Marant inspired beauties & come the warmer weather know they're not going to be off my feet. I even managed to wear them for their first outing Friday night & can report back that they're super comfy with no rubbing :-)
Next up is yet another stripe top. This I managed to get when heavily reduced + with an extra 30% off. A great length with a very flattering neckline, plus we all know you can never have enough stripes, they're the top that just keeps on giving....right?!!
This next item proved really useful on my recent trip to Paris. Perfect for teaming over a top for a lightwear jacket but equally can be worn in it's own right as a shirt. Plus it's grey, what more is there to say?! ;-)
Now this season I'm planning on wearing my leather leggings lots so this classic oversized shirt was snapped up in an instant. Love the cuff detailing & overall cut & I reckon it will look great layered over a lace trim camisole for a little bit of added femininity. I actually sized down a size in this & it's still oversized so worth bearing that in mind if you're tempted to get clicking.
Whilst ordering the shirt I also added the above belt. You may recall in my recent post here, I was tempted to order it to go with this dress & suffice to say it works perfectly so was an instant keeper.
Finally a couple of practical purchases in preparation for the colder weather. Each winter I keep reading great things about these thermals so when I spotted these wide neck tops I thought they'd be ideal for layering under shirts & jumpers & yes the scoop neck is really wide so it can't be seen under a shirt. In fact they're so good I also ordered the black version (see here).
As well as this really thin & lightweight compact gilet. Last winter I got hubby & son the male equivalent & when the first arrived they both scoffed that there would be no warmth in them due to the thinness but after the first wear they were seriously impressed & during the really cold spell they didn't leave home without them. So this year I've treated myself to one & I plan to slip mine under all my blazers & biker jackets for an extra layer of warmth & to get maximum wear out of my favourite item of clothing. An added bonus & what I really love is that you can make the round neck into a 'V' neck so it shouldn't be seen once you've got a jacket on over it :-)
I'm also awaiting on a couple of orders but am hoping this embroidered blouse will be a keeper together with this striped jumper & these suede ankle boots.
Back to today & we're off out for lunch so the perfect opportunity to break out another new buy, this time a preloved dress, that I managed to snap up for the cost of a dress from Zara so happy days :-)
