Morning ladies & happy Sunday. Seeing as today is the first Sunday in November I thought it would make perfect timing to look at advent calendars. Something which seems to get bigger & bigger each year.
Now if you're like me & love birthdays & Christmas an advent calendar is probably something you remember fondly from your childhood. So it will come as no surprise to hear that I'm all for the latest trend, especially as my birthday is also in December so double the excitement & perfect for helping with the countdown :-)
So let's get cracking on my top picks of advent calendars this year. Starting with the above tealight one, which is a lovely way of counting down to the big day itself.
For any tea lovers this one would make a great treat & unlike the chocolate alternatives, isn't going to add any unwanted extra pounds before all the festivities.

Back to today & it's all about a quiet one at home - training with our fur babies, a Sunday roast followed by a cheeky siesta before settling down to a film in front of the fire. So comfort all the way with a slogan knit & jeans.
Then for dog training/walk my parka for warmth & my new boots that are perfect for taking the dogs out. Couldn't resist sharing a quite picture of the boys, who are growing up so quickly. Bailey is one next week & Chester just after Christmas.
Not only do the boots have a great grip for walking on slippy footways & through muddy paths, they're also waterproof & due to the lambs wool lining & padded inner sole incredibly comfy to wear with no breaking in required.
