Morning ladies so how's everyone's festive celebrations going? I thought we'd talk sales today & in particular my top ten staples, some of which I've brought this season & others that I find myself wearing year after year.
Starting with the above leopard print coat, which was a cheeky pre-Christmas present to myself. You know I love my splashes of 'Bet' & whilst I had a faux fur leopard print coat, I wasn't getting the wear from it & fancied something a little less bulky. So I sold my other coat on eBay & 'clicked the button' on the above beauty. More tailored, longer in length & also reminds me much more of my Grandma's leopard print coat that I always regret not keeping & who inspired my love of leopard print. I found the coat to come up large so would advise sizing down.
The next item I was lucky enough to be sent by Hush earlier in the season & I just love. Whilst their winter sale hasn't officially started they currently have 20% off everything here until the end of the 1st of January & if you love cashmere & a slogan I can highly recommend this jumper. It's perfect for wearing with the simplest of looks & again I would advise sizing down.
My next recommendation would have to be the above J Crew jeans, which I purchased in the Black Friday sales & have already got a lot of wear out of. Straight legged, slightly cropped & with just a small amount of distressing that they don't look too young but have the right amount of interest to look great with a simple crew neck. I found these jeans true to size & went for a size 25.
Another sales buy would have to be a silk shirt. A great timeless investment that you can wear all year round & I love the sleeve detailing on the above beauty.
Of course I personally would be lost without a red bag for adding a splash of colour to my outfits, so with sales season upon us it would make a great buy & the above cross body would be a great multi purpose purchase.
I couldn't not write a top ten sales purchase post without featuring some leopard print boots. I was sent the above ones & can vouch for their comfort factor & are true to size.
Cashmere makes another great purchase & I have the above jumper from a previous season. I love the slighly looser fit & find a 'V' neckline flattering on most body shapes. True to size this kind of jumper is perfect for layering & dress up or down.
Leather leggings are also a great investment come sales period & ideal for layering with an oversized knit or classic boyfriend white shirt & trainers. In fact I've just 'clicked the button' on these myself!
Another item I've been really lucky to have been sent is the above leopard print tote that I've already found really useful. A great size, beautifully made & sure to add interest to any look.
Now if you've not taken the plunge in investing in a leather biker jacket then again it's a great time to get 'clicking that button'. Ideal for wearing with maxi skirts/dresses, jeans & cropped trousers & is something I reach for throughout the year.
Finally of course stripes are always a good idea & the above boxy shape & pocket detailing on the above beauty would make a great wardrobe staple.
Back to today & I'm bringing out that Zara blouse from last winter that Claudia Winkleman wore on Strictly & we all went mad for.
