Morning ladies today I want to talk wardrobe staples & a new feature I thought I'd introduce to the blog.
As much as I love all the latest trends & seeing what the new seasons have to offer us, I also love timeless fashion & those pieces you find yourself reaching for time & time again. For me I personally don't think you can beat the classics mixed with a small nod to the latest trends. It's something I always advise my clients to do & if you do this, whilst sticking to a main colour palette of just a handful of colours you'll soon find yourself with a great mix & match wardrobe that not only offers versatility but also means you wear your clothes.
So once a month I plan on featuring my edit of a particular item of clothing I consider to be a wardrobe staple/classic. Those items in our wardrobe that we wear time & time again.
For my first month I've gone with knitwear & in particular grey jumpers & cardigans. For me this is a great neutral for teaming with most items & colours in your wardrobe & is something I always find myself drawn to, love wearing & will never tire of. Plus due to the various shades on offer you can generally find a shade to suit most skin tones.
As you will have seen at the start of the post I've put together my edit of the best pieces currently on the high street, with something for all budgets. Whether that be a cashmere crew neck jumper (a real wardrobe staple) to a chunky longline cardigan that's perfect for layering with a pretty white summer blouse & jeans or a chunky roll neck jumper that looks great teamed with leather leggings & trainers there's something for everyone. As always simply click on any of the individual images for further details.

Back to today & it's all about the maxi skirt. One of those items that can be worn all year round. I've layered mine with thermal tights & top & then for added warmth paired with a cashmere crew neck & a pop of red to bring the look to life.
