my midlife fashion, eucerin hyaluron-filler

Morning ladies, it's time for a quick beauty update & some new products I've been sent or bought that  I'm really enjoying using.

Starting with Eurerin's Hyaluron-Filler, which is a dual-efficacy anti-age peeling & moisturising serum that has been formulated to promote skin cell renewal as well as to plump up even the deepest of wrinkles & is inspired by the popular dermalogical treatments - AHA peeling & hyaluron injection.

As you can see from the above photo the product has two seperate chambers - the white one contains an effective complex of Alpha Hydroxy Acids - Glycolic Acid to exfoliate & brighten the skin, Lactic Acid to stimulate cell turnover & Gluconolactone to maintain elasticity & protect the skin.  With the silver chamber containing a gel serum containing both high & low molecular-weight Hyaluronic acid to work on fine lines & as well as deeper wrinkles to help fill & stimulate hyaluronic acid production.

I've been using mine for a few weeks now, applying of an evening after cleansing & before moisturising & love the fact that the cream sinks in quickly & smells gorgeous.  Plus & more importantly there's definitely been an improvement to my skin's appearance.

Along with the Hyaluron-Filler I've also been using Caudalie's Resveratrol [Lift] Face Lifting Soft Cream, which contains Grapevine Resveratrol to firm & anti-wrinkle the skin & Hyaluronic Acid to plump & moisturise.

Whilst the cream is highly mositurising, it's extremely light, quickly sinks into your skin & is non-greasy.  Plus it works well as a make-up priming base too.  If you fancy trying the product but don't want to buy the normal 50ml size until you've seen for yourself the results then Caudalie currently have a limited edition of 25ml pots available here.

my midlife fashion, john masters organics shampoo, john masters organics hair milk, john masters organics hair mask

I've also been trying some new hair products that I was recently sent By John Masters Organics.  I've been using this organic brand that combines the power of natural, organic ingredients with decades of expertise & forward-thinking innovation for a couple of weeks now.

All products are free from Silicones, Parabens, Phthalates, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances & dyes, to provide a gentler way to care for your hair.  With all bottles being made from 100% recyclable packaging.  Plus if like me & you have coloured hair then as an additional bonus as the products are completely free from SLS they won't cause your colour to dull.

The shampoo cleanses, moisturises & helps balance normal hair & is infused with lavender & rosemary, which smells so refreshing & is a great way to awakening the senses first thing of a morning.

I've been using the  Hair Milk, which is infused with rose & apricot after towel drying my hair & is a light weight, leave-in conditioner that nourishes & hydrates.  That will moisturise, defrizz & add shine.

Then I've been using the Hair Mask twice a week, applying to wet hair & leaving it in for approximately 5 minutes before washing off.  Again this product is infused with rose & apricot, like the hair milk & will help replenish lost moisture, repair split ends & improve texture & elasticity.  My hair felt extremely soft even after the first use!

After a couple of weeks of using the products my hair feels really good - soft & smooth with added shine & bounce, so definitely worth a try if you fancy changing your existing hair care.  You can see their full range of products here, which also includes skincare.

As well as the above products I've also treated myself to a few new beauty products.  Starting with a genius idea from Jo Malone.

jo malone fragrance combining palette

As you've probably gathered by now I have a huge Jo Malone weakness, so when an email recently popped into my inbox announcing the launch of their combining palettes I decided to treat myself.  If you've not heard about them these compact palettes are perfect for carrying in your handbag or when travelling & avoiding taking liquids.  You can choose either to pick your own 2 fragrances or go with one of the combined palettes that Jo Malone have put together.  I decided to choose my own & went for Oud & Bergamot & Mimosa & Cardamon, which go together beautifully.  Plus once you've purchased the palette in future you'll just need to buy the refills as & when they run out.

pixi glow tonic

Late to the party I also finally got round to treating myself to the above glow tonic that I've heard so many good reviews about.  I've been using the tonic for a couple of weeks now & have found it gives my skin a healthy glow & also acts as a great primer for my make up, so if you'e not yet tried it, it's definitely one to try.

avene Micellar Lotion Cleanser and make up remover

I've also recently bought the above micellar lotion, as my normal one was running out & I noticed this one was better value in terms of cost & quantity.  Like all micellar waters it removes all make up & is lovely & gentle on my skin, so I'll definitely be buying this brand again.

charlotte tilbury veruschka mink rock n kohl dark grey eyeliner pencil

And the final product I've treated myself to is the above eyeliner.  Obviously you'll have seen from my daily photos I'm partial to a smoky eye & the above product is the best I've found in terms of softness & being able to blend.  I generally wear a black eyeliner but had started to think it was a little too harsh for daytime so I've swapped the black for the above one, which is still nice & dark but the grey just gives me a slightly softer look.

Back to today & it's all about the accessories with a couple of splashes of Bet.

  1. FAB outfit Jane! Love the leopard touches... Thanks for the product update as well. The Jo Malone palette is especially intriguing! My Jo Malone favs that I own are Wild Fig/Cassis and Sea Salt/Wood Sage.
