Morning ladies & happy Easter Sunday!

For this month's wardrobe essential I thought we'd talk silk tops. Which in my view are the perfect top for dressing up the simplest of looks, as they just hang & fall beautifully. Throw on with a pair of skinny jeans & ballet pumps for everyday chic or style with cigarette pants & heels for a night out. Their versatility is endless, not to mention timeless & there's simply nothing nicer than wearing silk next to your skin.

Personally I prefer a plain top that can be dressed up or down with accessories & have this top in grey & black, this in black & ivory, this in white & this one in black hanging in my wardrobe. All pieces I wear all year round & would definitely replace if they ever wore out.

Back to today & we're spending Easter Sunday at home with nothing more energetic planned than a a early morning walk with the fur babies followed by a Sunday roast & a couple of films, not to mention sampling an Easter egg or two ;-) So it's a simple casual look from me, although I think I may end up changing my jumper for a tee later in the day.
