Morning ladies it's been a while since I did a 'new purchases' post as I've recently been buying a lot of preloved pieces but over the past few weeks there's been some new store purchases too, so I thought I'd share those with you today.
Starting with this beautiful pale blue lace trim top that I happened to spot whilst in possession of a cheeky 30% off discount code & well the rest is history! Such a pretty top that will be perfect for pairing with denim as shown above not to mention a white maxi skirt or trousers. In terms of sizing I ordered the XS & it fits perfectly.
In fact that's not the only top to get my fingers 'clicking that button' as I just couldn't help myself with this oversized white shirt. It may not look that amazing from the above image but I intend to wear it with the sleeves pulled up & the centre of the shirt tucked in to give some shape with the collars turned up slightly.
It's a great stylish addition & with the statement gold oversized buttons & double lapel detailing something a little different to all those plain oversized shirts in store at the moment. I went for the S.
Now whilst ordering the white shirt I couldn't resist popping the above frilled top into my basket - well you know I have a HUGE weakness for frill detailing! I have to admit I wasn't entirely sure what to expect due to the mesh neckline & had thought it might look quite casual as it's labelled as a t-shirt, but it's stunning. Dressier than a t-shirt so perfect for a night out but equally could be worn with jeans & flats/heels should you want a stand out piece & the quality is second to none - I would certainly recommend if you're on the lookout for a new black top. In terms of sizing I've gone for the S.
I've also recently purchased the above cashmere jumper in both the black & navy with the help of a cheeky discount code. Cashmere will never date & is something I wear a lot, so these short sleeved versions will be brilliant for teaming with jeans, cigarette pants & maxi skirts on cooler summer days. I went for a size S in these as I didn't want them to be too clingy & the fit is perfect.
Having been a Zara addict in the past, over the past 12 months or so I've only been buying the odd piece (cue a mass Zara frenzy now I've said that!) but when I spotted the above belt I thought it would be ideal for breathing new life into summer classics. Wear with a statement white or black maxi dress or equally team with chinos & a white shirt & I'm even going to try it with my new oversized white shirt featured above. It would also look amazing with a shirt dress to & a great way of making the dress your own.
Now if you follow me on Instagram (see here) you may recall the above loafers featured on one of my stories. I loved them, son was indifferent & hubby hated them so I set up a poll to see what you all thought. Needless to say as they're featuring in today's post they stayed. For some reason I just couldn't bear to be parted from them - I love the stud detailing & I have since interrogated hubby who informed me he loved the detailing just didn't like the fact their mules! Plus seeing as I grabbed them in the sale with an additional 30% off.....well I didn't need much convincing! Just in case you' re tempted I ordered a 9 medium & I'm generally a size 40.
And the same goes for this dress. I'd been eyeing it up at full price but when it hit the sale & after stalking it to come back into stock in my size (size 0) I was quick to 'click the button' & grab an additional 30% off. A great dress for dressing up or down & may just have it's first outing for a christening in a couple of weeks.
Finally for any 'Bet' fans then you'll love this. In the past I've just made do with those free disposable shower caps you get in hotels, but no more, now it's all about my stylish leopard print shower cap, that makes me smile every time I walk past it :-)
Back to today & it's all about the quilted jacket.
