Morning ladies, it's that time of year where you may find yourself with the odd summer occasion in the diary & wondering what to wear. I don't know about you but I love the opportunity/excuse to play dress up & wear something a little different to my everyday style.

Whether it be a wedding, day at the races, christening or summer garden party personally I don't think you can go wrong with a dress. For me I just find them so easy & comfortable to wear & they avoid the worry of trying to find the right top to pair with a skirt/trousers. On top of this if we're lucky enough to enjoy similar weather to last year they're cool to wear but equally should the weather not be great, look fab with a tuxedo jacket/crew neck cashmere cardigan/biker jacket worn casually over your shoulders. Plus if you go for a plain dress then with different accessories you should be able to dress it up or down to help with the cost per wear ratio. It's amazing how a smart maxi dress can easily be dressed down for an evening holiday look with some metallic sandals & a raffia clutch.
