Morning ladies, well dare I say it?! It FINALLY feels like summer has arrived! So in honour of the return of the sun I thought today we'd talk holiday clothes, pieces that you can wear at home & abroad & that are timeless additions perfect for bringing out summer after summer.
Now one of my favourite brands for holiday picks has to be Hush, who always have a great selection of stylish pieces to keep you cool in the summer & each year offer more temptation in the pretty white top/dresses category not to mention some fab understated dresses in my favourite summer colour - black!
So with their latest collection having just gone live, let's take a look at my top 10 picks. Starting with the above one shoulder dress, which is quite simply stunning. As you probably know by now I'm a huge fan of this style top so a simple black maxi with the same detailing is right up my street. Style with these sandals & this sunhat for a stylish daytime look. Then throw on these heels, which are now available in the sale, with this sale clutch for evening.
Pretty tops are a holiday wardrobe essential so it probably won't come as any surprise as to why the above cami top has made it into my top 10. Style with this Panama hat, these shorts & a simple pair of sandals like these.
If like me you like to stick to a mainly monochrome palette when packing for your summer holidays then you could no doubt easily find room for the above pretty lace detailed maxi dress. Which would could so easily be styled with similar accessories to the one shoulder tie dress above.
Of course white is the perfect colour to wear in soaring temperatures so a pretty white dress (that is also available in black) is perfect for throwing on when sightseeing or heading to the beach. It's also a fab little dress for wearing pre/post holiday too. Just pair with these trainers & if cooler weather this jacket.
Likewise pretty tops like the above navy broderie anglaise beauty doesn't necessarily have to just be kept for holidays. Wear with jeans, such as these & this jacket for a perfect travelling outfit or this skirt once back home.
Of course a summer wardrobe wouldn't be complete without a pair of white jeans & I love the look of these cropped white ones, that are also available in blue denim. Perfect for pairing with a stripe top like this one.
Another pretty white top is this ever useful lace trim top that's also in black & perfect for pairing with a pair of denim shorts like these.
For effortless chic then how gorgeous is this navy shirt dress. I'd style it with a stylish straw basket like this one & these sandals & possibly a tan belt.
Likewise the above knitted maxi dress would be perfect styled similar to the one shoulder tie dress.
And finally I couldn't not include this pretty embroidered camisole top, which as shown in the above image is perfect for pairing with a pair of denim shorts.
Back to today & it's all about a new statement wrap skirt that's actually made from an old sari, making it truly unique, as only one in each fabric is ever available.
