Morning ladies, have you seen that Hush have dropped a new collection that's designed to be worn now & take us through to AW19? There's some great pieces that would make great timeless wardrobe staples that I can imagine reaching for time after time.
So with this in mind I thought I'd showcase my favourite picks. Starting with the above oversized white shirt. Like pretty white tops can we ever own enough white shirts? The perfect backdrop for accessorising, not to mention timeless & I just love how Hush have styled it above with some loose fit straight jeans.
Talking of jeans, if you're in the market for a new pair then I've always been impressed by Hush's denim, generally as with most things Hush I've found you need to size down with their jeans but the quality & design is brilliant & they really hold their shape well. The above pair would look fab teamed with a breton, blazer & ballet pump not to mention an oversized knit & ankle boots come winter.
Sticking with trousers for my next pick with the above cropped wide leg chinos. Again another really versatile piece that would look great teamed with trainers & a biker jacket for cooler days during the summer/early autumn then come winter wear with a sock boot to cover bare ankles & a polo neck. Equally flat sandals & a simple tee/cami would also look fab.
Moving onto dresses with my next pick & this simple midi dress would make a great day dress styled with a denim jacket & trainers, as much as it would paired with a panama hat, jute basket & tan flats for a stylish holiday ensemble. Plus it could also be worn for the office with a pair of ballet flats & a knitted jacket.
If you've not already got a leather/pleather 'A' line skirt lurking in your wardrobe then the above leather mini skirt would make a great addition. Hush have styled it with the new white shirt I featured at the start of this post. Which is the perfect cooler summer look, although if wearing with bare legs I'd probably team it with flats - such as a stylish sandal or ballet pump or maybe even a trainer. Then come winter throw on with a pair of opaque tights & team with a whole host of tops from a polo neck, oversized shirt, lace trim cami worn under a thick oversized cardigan or even a pretty lace top - the options are endless!
Finally I just had to feature the above studded ankle boots & the below studded flats. I love accessories that are a little bit different & whilst both are simple, timeless pieces of footwear the studded detailing just elevates them & stops them looking ordinary & would jazz up any an outfit.
Back to today & it's all about a new maxi skirt. Just couldn't resist this patterned maxi, not the best in terms of it's not lined but an underskirt easily sorts the problem. I'm wearing the XS/S & it has pockets!
