Morning lovelies so today I want to talk sustainable denim. I was recently approached by White Stuff to see if I'd heard about their new sustainable denim collection, which consists of three core styles - skinny, straight & boyfriend. If like me you hadn't heard then here's a little bit more info.
By partnering with one of the cleanest & most sustainable factories in the world as part of their initiative to become a more sustainable brand, the denim is made from 98% recycled water & is 85% air dried, using heat from the factory floor to further reduce energy consumption. Which means only 0.4 litres of water is used during the production methods compared to the 1,500 litres used during traditional production methods. I think you'll agree that's a huge difference & definitely refreshing to see a brand helping to protect the environment.
I've been luckily enough to be sent a pair of their skinny jeans to try & I'm really impressed. Not only by the quality & cut of the jeans but also the softness.
Available in three lengths & with elastane for stretch & comfort the jeans are extremely comfy to wear & retain their shape well. I'm also just a bit in love with the colour (I'm wearing their mid denim), which has to be the perfect shade of blue jean ever! In terms of sizing I'm wearing a 6 regular.
