Morning ladies today I thought we'd talk Autumn footwear.  A wardrobe necessity that for me is the winter equivalent of ballet pumps.  Perfect for teaming with jeans, leather leggings, skirts & dresses alike.  

As will all styles of footwear there's lots of styles to choose from but today I'm focussing on flat ankle boots with a chunkier sole.  A style that's seems to be growing in trend over the past couple of years & one I've been looking to try for teaming with maxi dresses/skirts & leather leggings worn with oversized shirts & blazers.

Personally for me I want a slightly chunky sole boot that fits closely to my ankle but of course the options are endless.  As always I've popped together some of my favourite picks & as always just click on any of the individual images for further details.

Back to today & it's all about a splash of Bet with a new shirt dress I won in an Instagram competition that I've styled with some new boots I've been sent that were the inspiration for today's post.  

As I mentioned earlier I've been looking for the perfect pair of lace up, chunky/non chunky ankle boots & these beauties below are just perfect.  Made from the softest leather with a splash of red to break up the look they're by Carl Scarpa, a brand a fell in love with last summer when they sent me what have to be the comfiest wedge espadrilles I've ever worn.
