Morning ladies so today marks the first day back in lockdown here in France. Over the past couple of weeks numbers have been rising rapidly so it hasn't come as a total surprise but nonetheless it seems that we have strange & worrying times ahead. As always, with situations that are beyond our control it's best to try & hold onto the positives, no matter how hard. The main one I'm taking comfort in is that we're all healthy & of course more time spent at home due to the lockdown means more time we can continue working on the renovations on the house & our never ending to do list :-)

As like the previous lockdown I still plan on posting daily, as for me getting dressed & making an effort is good for my wellbeing. While things are by no means normal in the world right now, for me the more I can keep to my routine & introduce small positives into the day the better I feel.

So in celebration of the start of the weekend I'm breaking out a favourite jacket that for me never dates. In fact it must be pretty popular as it's a style that comes in 3 different colours & is rolled out each year - effortless style at it's best in my opinion.

I don't think you can beat this style jacket when teamed with jeans & ballet flats.
