Morning ladies so today I want to talk make up & in particular everyday, nonsense, effortless make up. I was recently approached by British brand Studio 10 to see if I would be interested in trying some of their products & after using the products for a couple of weeks, today I want to share my thoughts on the same.
For those of you who've not heard of the brand, Studio 10 prides themselves on offering a 'high performing, capsule collection of pro age quick fixes that target & deal easily with signs of ageing'. With one of the main benefits being that they offer a simple makeup regime that will give your skin a lit from within radiance, in shades that will enhance all skin tones & help achieve ageless beauty. On top of this all their products are cruelty & paraben free, dermatologically tested as well as being vegan friendly.
As you can see from my first photo above I was sent three products from the Glow-plexion range together with an eyeshadow palette & mascara.
I don't know about you but my skin is already missing the summer months & that golden glow, so I was keen to try their Glow-plexion products to see if they would help give my skin that added boost.
The first product I immediately tried was their Youth-Lift Glow-plexion. This all day primer instantly gives your skin an inner glow & radiance. Generally I've being applying this all over my face underneath my normal tinted moisturiser but it can also be used as a highlighter. I just love the glow it gives my skin & on days when I don't have to leave the house & want to be make up free, I've been applying a little over the top of my normal daily moisturiser to give my skin a boost & healthy glow.
On make up days I've then been adding a few dabs of their Perfect Bronze Glow-plexion to the areas of my face that would normally catch the sun & blending in with a bronzer brush to give my skin a healthy sun kissed glow. I've found that a little of this product goes a long way & love how easy it is to blend & layer up, leaving my skin with a healthy colour that looks natural in a non 'tangoed' way.
I've then been finishing off the look with a couple of small dabs of their Plumping Blush Glow-plexion to the the tops of my cheekbones to give a little extra warmth & glow to my face. Like the Perfect Bronze, this blush blends in smoothly & can be built up to achieve the desired affect. I find the shade perfect for adding subtle colour to my cheeks, which lasts all day.
Then turning my attention to my eyes I've been applying their Visible Lift I-Radiance eye palette, which offers perfect neutral shades that are ideal for achieving an everyday smoky eye. Consisting of 1 neutral primer & 4 eyeshadows, this product highlights, shapes & defines your eyes in 5 easy stages, with easy to blend powders that have great staying power & don't seem to crease. If you've always loved the smoky eye look but have struggled with achieving the same then this product is definitely for you. Finally finish off with a coat or two of their 6 in 1 Perfect Lash mascara that conditions & adds volume to your lashes as well as strengthening & adding shine.
