Aspenne Maxi Skirt - on sale!
Morning lovelies so today I thought I'd share with you what I've recently been buying. Needless to say with the move & the work we're doing on our home a lot of the budget is going on all those DIY supplies that look nothing but add up, as well as some great second hand furniture finds from a French website. Although that doesn't mean there hasn't been the odd cheeky treat for myself.
Starting with a couple of new summer skirts that are such a great price in the current sales, it would have been rude not to ;-)
Arvinder Linen Tiered Maxi Skirt - on sale!
I wear this style of tiered maxi skirt a lot as they're perfect for teaming with most tops in my wardrobe - from simple camisoles when the temperatures rise to a shirt or pretty blouse on slightly cooler days or even a crew neck knit. Plus they also go with most styles of footwear - trainers, ballet pumps, sandals & wedge espadrilles & look great when paired with a leather or denim jacket.
Then there's also been a few beauty buys. Firstly this LED magnifying mirror which is rechargeable via a USB cable. It's very similar to this mirror, which I also had my eye on but is much more expensive. I was a little hesitant in getting the version above but have to say I'm delighted with it & so pleased I didn't spend the extra pennies. The mirror is a great size & the light setting has 3 different options with adjustable the brightness so a great find.
The next treat to myself was this root spray. Since growing my hair & layers I was having trouble keeping height at the roots so when I spotted this spray & having been impressed by their Root Cover Up & Dream coat Supernatural Spray I thought it worth a go. The product can be used on both dry & wet hair & it does everything I hoped it would & more. After washing my hair I simply spray it on the roots before drying & then on those in-between days when I feel my hair needs a little more lift I just spray some into my hands & rub into the roots.
My final beauty purchase was this wrinkle smoothing cream, which I managed to get heavily discounted in the Black Friday sales. Since growing out my fringe I'm more conscious of the number 11 lines in-between my eyes so having read the reviews thought this worth a go. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks & apparently it takes 4 weeks for visible results but I do think they already appear a little softer.
Now I'm able to tie my hair back I'd been looking for a velvet hair clip that could be used to dress up a simple ponytail & used everyday. So I recently purchased this timeless black velvet clip, which ticks all the boxes & I love so much I'm thinking of treating myself to this navy one next.
Finally there have been a couple of 'house' treats. You may have seen on my Instagram posts that we had the red version of the above napkin rings for Christmas, which we loved so much that we decided to get the above blue version for everyday.
