Morning ladies so today I thought it would be good to talk about how you can style an item of clothing multiple ways to maximise the cost per wear.
You may recall I've previously written about Saint & Sofia here & here & have been really impressed by the quality & cut of their clothing so when they recently got in touch to see about working together I thought it would be fun to look at how I'd style some of their latest collection.
As you'll no doubt know by now I'm a huge fan of a maxi skirt, which I wear all year round. My favourite style has to a tiered design as I find it's generally more flattering & falls beautifully. Saint & Sofia have the perfect skirt that falls in to this category perfectly & is available in five different colour options.
So before I show you three ways in which I've personally styled the skirt, I thought I'd also share some other options for styling the pieces I've been gifted & chosen to style.
Starting of course with the above maxi skirt that would also go perfectly with this safari jacket & this cami & could then be paired with a whole host of different footwear from ankle boots, sandals, ballet flats or even dressed down with these leopard print trainers.
Who doesn't love a timeless blazer, especially one like this double breasted number that is perfect for dressing up or down. I really love the idea of teaming it with these shorts, this puff sleeve tee & these sandals for a great summer time look.
Of course no wardrobe is complete without a few tees & as always I'm a sucker for extra detailing so I was instantly drawn to the above crew neck with this epaulette shoulder detailing. I'll share with you in a bit how I'd style it with the maxi skirt but it would also look pretty cool paired with these culottes & this crossbody bag.
It's also no secret how much I love a ruffle/frill & the above blouse is just perfect for dressing up or down. Alternate ways of styling would be with these cropped chinos & this basket or for a night out a simple pair of skinny jeans & heels.
Finally camisole t-shirts really come into their own this time of year & are perfect for pairing with most bottoms hanging in our wardrobes. I particularly love this kind of top teamed with statement accessories & really like the idea of pairing with this statement scarf, these leather trousers & this cropped cardigan.
Now I mentioned earlier at the start of this post that I was going to share with you some other ways in which to style the above five items & all featuring the maxi skirt. So let's get started with my first look.
This outfit would be perfect for any smart casual event - from working in the office, to meeting up with friends or just because & love the simplicity of the vest top worn under the blazer. I've accessorised the look with a jute belt to tie everything together & ballet flats but it could do easily be paired with ankle boots or sandals depending on the time of year.

For the second look I've gone for something that would be perfect for wearing on a night out.
The ruffle detailing on the wrap over blouse is perfect for dressing the skirt up & making it feel a little more special & heels finish the look off perfectly.

Finally for my final way to wear the skirt, I've gone for something more everyday by teaming it with the turn up tee & sandals & have added some bracelets & a Panama hat to finish the look off.

Of course there's numerous other ways in which the skirt can be styled but hopefully the ways shown above give you some idea on just how versatile & hard working an item it can be. In terms of sizing I'm wearing a UK8 in all items, which are all true to size & fit me perfectly & you can see their full new collection here.
Have a great day ladies & I'll see you tomorrow.
