Morning ladies & happy Sunday. I think it's safe to say we're all looking forward to Spring & the warmer & brighter days. After all there's only so long you can get excited about layering up in thermals & chunky knitwear. As I've mentioned in previous posts I count myself extremely lucky to work so closely with Baukjen as it's such a wonderful brand but also to be able to pick a few pieces to style & whilst it's never an easy decision, this month was trickier than normal. So many great timeless pieces for achieving that effortless style we all wish to obtain that it makes it incredibly difficult to pick but in the end I decided to go for the pieces that initially caught my eye when I scanned their latest drop - their Freya FSC Viscose Smock Blouse, Ayla Top, Easter Organic Cargo Trousers & The Organic Boyfriend Jean.
Now I mentioned that it was a 'love at first sight' moment as soon as I spotted their Freya Smock Blouse. Firstly because I love the style, frill detailing & pattern but also because I can see endless possibilities on how to style this beauty. From pairing with a pair of jeans, styling with a navy maxi skirt to wearing with a pair of white shorts, the possibilities are endless.

A relaxed cut, I'm wearing a the blouse in a UK8 & it fits perfectly. As you can see I've teamed it with their Boyfriend Jean in Off White but I also plan on pairing it with their Boyfriend Jean in the Pale Indigo wash, which is due to arrive in the post shortly. If like me you prefer a more straight leg fit & not too loose on the waist/leg then I find it best to size down a size for the perfect fit.

As I mentioned earlier their Ayla Top is a semi-fitted design so I decided to size up a size to a UK10 as for me this just gives a better balance when teamed with skinny jeans. For their Easter Cargo Trousers, like their Boyfriend Jeans, I again sized down to a UK6, which just gives me more of a tailored relaxed fit that I so love.
