Morning ladies & happy Wednesday. So today I want to talk health & in particular CBD products by Naturecan. First of all I can't believe I'm writing about CBD products! When they first starting hitting the market, I in my naivety thought it was some form of drug & was not something I even wanted to try or be associated with. But when friends & even my own mother started to rave about how CBD oil had been helping her with her sleep & anxiety then I started to think I needed to investigate further. So when Nautrecan approached me about trying some of their products I thought I'd give it a go.
If like me you have any concerns then let me start by telling you that CBD (Cannabidiol) is a compound found in the Hemp plant & has the ability to address various medical issues such as insomnia, anxiety, inflammation & chronic pain. Importantly it's non-intoxicating & non-addictive & only has rare/mild side affects, which are mainly caused by taking too high a dose. So why choose Naturecan? Well firstly the company was founded in May 2019 by a health-focused team with decades of experience in nutrition, product development & quality ingredient sourcing. Every product is third-party lab tested for certified quality & the CBD is grown & extracted in Oregon, USA, meeting the highest standards & providing peace of mind when it comes to safely. I was sent a bundle of products to try, which I've been using the for past few weeks & here's my thoughts of each of the products I've been using.
Firstly taking these gummies couldn't be easier. I took 2 of the 10mg gummies per day & they're really like treating yourself to a soft jelly sweet, with a slightly bitter after taste. They take approximately 30-60 minutes to take effect & last for approximately 6-8 hours.
The second product I've tried was their Softgel Capsules which contain added Vitamin C. I have been taking 3 of the 10mg capsules each day. These take a little longer to get into your system than the gummies, typically taking 1-2 hours to get into your system & lasting from 2-8 hours.
The third product I've been using is their CBD Oil, which can be brought in in various strengths ranging from 2.5% to 40%. I've been using the 10% version & taking it couldn't be easier as you simply place the number of desired drops under your tongue & leave them there for around a minute before swallowing. This is also the fastest working product that I tried, typically taking around 15 minutes for your to feel the benefits & lasting for up to 6 hours.
The final two products I've been using are both beauty products. Firstly their Skin Radiance face masks, which couldn't be easier to apply. Simply place the mask onto cleansed skin for approximately 15-20 minutes & once removed apply any excess serum to your neck, décolletage & hands. Naturecan recommend using this product twice weekly for the first 4 weeks & then as required. I absolutely loved this product as it felt a real luxury to apply & relax for the 20 minutes that I left it on for. Afterwards my skin had a more relaxed & radiant look & it's perfect for giving dull tired winter skin a boost of hydration.
The final product I've been using is their CBD hand cream, which also contains cocoa butter, avocado oil, vitamin E & naturally rejuvenating hyaluronic acid. I found the hand cream to have a very light fresh fragrance & it absorbed quickly & easily into my skin without leaving a greasy feel but it also felt as if my hands had an additional layer of protection.
So what are my thoughts on CBD products & am I a convert? Well I have to say yes I am. I've loved all the different products I've tested & would definitely recommend the hand cream & face masks - my face had such a lovely glow after using.
In terms of preference on the CBD Oil soft gels, oil or gummies then that's down to personal preference, with mine being the oil for easy & practicality of use & the fact you have so many different strengths available. What I particularly love about Naturecan's website is all the information they provide, together with this dosage calculator so you can check you are getting the right dose for you.
As a result of taking the products I've definitely noticed a difference in my anxiety & an improvement in my insomnia so would definitely recommend you give them a go if you're currently suffering similar health issues.
