I've gone & fallen for another handbag :S Hubby
is not impressed but has rather graciously admitted defeat as he knows when
it's love at first sight & boy was it!
I had
secretly been hoping that it wouldn't look as good as it did in the picture or
like Goldilocks & The Three Bears it would be too big or too small but as
Goldilocks herself found out when falling asleep in the little bear's bed this
bag is 'just right' plus it had me at hello!
Now I
know my last blog featured two great bags & I honestly thought that I
wouldn't be purchasing another one (well not this quickly at least!!!) but as I
was flicking through the Zara website this week for research purposes you
understand, well that's my excuse & I intend to stick with it & if I say it
enough times surely someone will believe me ;) I stumbled across a bag I just
knew I had to hit the 'buy' button for.
As any
true Zara devotee worth their credentials will tell you if you snooze you
loose, you can never afford to hesitate because as soon as you do you can bet
that the item has become sold out never to be seen in stock online or in store
again. It will however, make various appearances in magazines, on blogs &
just generally appear & taunt you to remind you of what a great item it is
& how it REALLY would of enhanced & completed your wardrobe. Or of
course it could just be me & my sad little life that feels like this?!
Anyway in
my humble opinion this bag is just the most gorgeous shade of tan, made from a
great leather that should conceal scratches/marks & is a great classic
design with a slight modern twist not to mention the perfect size & design
with lots of compartments. So if like me you are forever 'loosing' your mobile
in the depths of your handbag & frequently have panic attacks thinking
you've 'lost' your phone this should become a thing of the past!
So enough
waffling on about said bag, I think it's about time I showed you a picture
because let's face it I will either have persuaded you that I simply had to
keep it by now or not!
I just love this style of bag, as its a really classic shape and the handle length is perfect (some bags I find can be too long in the handle so much so that they end up being a nuisance, they're neither a handbag or shoulder bag). Also whilst I know there are some great designer bags in a similar style they are by far a lot more money (this one is £119) & if I spent too much on a bag it would be relegated to being just used for best, not to mention the amount of clothes, shoes & accessories I could get with the money instead.
I also
love the slightly modern twist of the zip detail around the sides & the
fact that instead of the main bag having either a twist & lock or zip
fastening this has a magnetic closure which in my opinion is genius, no more
struggling to open my bag whilst juggling a handful of items.
Right
enough is enough, even I have worn myself out on how lovely I think the bag is.
So onto something entirely different - jewellery. I don't know if you're like
me but I seem to go through phases of wearing large chunky jewellery but after
Zara introduced jewellery in their Autumn/Winter collection I seem to have
become hooked. It really is amazing how a plain 'nothing special' outfit can be
transformed into something amazing by the addition of a chunky statement
necklace & a couple of bangles. Zara (yes I know I need to stop mentioning
them & I promise I'm not sponsored by them but I REALLY should have shares
the amount I spend there) have had some absolutely fantastic necklaces in their
winter collection all for what I consider a reasonable price (around the £20 price range) for something that really is a little bit
different & looks a lot more money. In fact whilst browsing eBay earlier I
was amazed on the increase in price people are now selling these sold out
necklaces for. This season the necklaces seem to be taking more of a tribal
feel although I have purchased a beautiful chunky pearl necklace which cost £19.99 & looks really nice on.
I was also really lucky to receive the beautiful J Crew Classic Pave Link Bracelet from hubby for Valentine's Day which I really love. It goes with everything & is just the right amount of bling to add a bit of sparkle to any daytime or evening outfit without feeling that you're from the ghetto, if you know what I mean;)
I love
this stunning necklace, the colour will look amazing in the summer, especially
when worn with white but to be honest it will go with most colours - navy,
black etc and will really lift an outfit.
They also
do this matching bracelet which may also have found its way into my shopping
basket & I think it will look lovely with my J Crew bracelet.
As an
alternative to my leopard print bangle they do some stunning leather ones, my
favourite being this tan woven one.
Right
enough of my ramblings, here's what I've been wearing this week.

Right
before I love & leave you thank you all soooo much for all the wonderful
comments & feedback from my first blog, it means the world to me. In fact

blog & publish it within the week deadline I had given myself!
Stay
posted as time permitting I intend to write a short little blog later in the
week on a sneaky couple of other purchases I've made this week including a
