Holiday - Poolside Looks

Well we are now nearing the end of our holidays.......which as always has gone far too quickly for our liking, but can only be a sign of a great time had by all!!!

The internet connection here is sooooo slow I can only think it has been joining me on the bubbles!!!  & despite paying for 24-7 connection it can be hit & miss with the best times first thing & late at night.  In fact in the interests of loading my first post while on holiday (Jumpsuit Styleee!!) hubby was precariously hanging over the balcony in the wee small hours!!!

So to avoid scaring the rooms next door & getting him arrested I thought I would split my holiday posts & hope that posts with less images to upload might be easier.  It really does make you appreciate the internet speed back home......& has certainly left us with the feeling at times that we've got to peddle faster in the hope the blog uploads!!!!

Now I don't know if you're anything like me but deciding what to take on holiday can be a nightmare......just trying to think of everything you will want to wear including accessories for however long you are going can be daunting at the best of times plus there'll always be at least one thing you'll decide not to take & then spend the rest of your holidays thinking just how useful it would have been had you brought it away with you!!!

Each year I think I'm going to pack really quickly & each year I fail but to try & speed things up I always try to pack the easy bits first......starting with swimwear.

So how many bikinis/swimsuits do you take away with you?  In the past it has ranged from anything from three to six.....after all they take up such little room in the suitcase it's so easy to get carried away.  Although it all adds up, in fact as we checked our  bags in this year the girl on check-in gleamed with delight when she informed us the first two of our three suitcases were well over weight & that our third & final one had to come in significantly lower otherwise she'd be hitting us with the excess luggage charge!  Luckily for us we knew the third case was half empty......well you need to allow space for that holiday shopping....no???!!!  So no excess charges for us......yet to be honest I'll be damned if we get hit & if we all have to do a Joey from Friends & layer up the clothing on our return home then so be it (just no lunges or going commando I promise ;-) )

This year as I've had to invest in a few new bikinis I decided to take four for a twelve day holiday together with four kaftans/cover ups that could be mixed with the various bikinis to make several different looks.

So in the interests of public health instead of showing you pictures of me wearing said bikinis (I've left that joy to our fellow guests) I've taken piccies of my outfits on the bed....well I don't want to be putting anyone off their meals & trust me my stretch marks really aren't something you want to be seeing!!!
