So this is my final post on the
Wallis Style Adviser app & what can I say except it's got a lot to answer for! Yup it really has been fantastic (hubby says lethal!) at suggesting some great new additions for my wardrobe.
Of course we all know I like to shop but seriously, when you're getting tempted by stunning beauties that would make stylish & classic additions to your wardrobe could you resist?!!
Now I know many of you are much stronger willed than me but to prove my point I thought it only fair to show *tempt* you ;-) with a selection of the stunners that have been taunting me. Plus seeing as Wallis currently have up to 50% off, today seemed like the perfect opportunity.
So first up the Style Adviser suggested this gorgeous reefer jacket. A great addition to any wardrobe as it's a style that you know is simply never going to date. Plus it has the ability to make any outfit instantly look styled & chic just by throwing it on.
Next I was tempted by this stunning berry dress (which is also available in black, red or teal). I just love how it's styled in the below picture but I reckon it would also look fab with some chunky biker boots layered under a biker jacket & scarf for a casual daytime look.
I was also tempted by this lace dress - ideal to team with a black blazer not to mention wear for the coming Christmas festivities. And if you like the dress but blacks not your colour it's also available in berry. Not to mention it's currently a complete steal at £22.50!
Of course you don't need to know me too well to know that I'm going to love the simplicity of this animal print dress. Again a great one for throwing on with a biker jacket & boots. Plus it would make a great summer dress for next year teamed with some simple sandals.
Now I don't need any more jackets/coats (perhaps if I tell myself this enough times it will actually get through lol!) but this is gorgeous. Perfect for wearing to work, parties or even dressed down with some distressed denim of a weekend.
A little bit pricey but how stunning is this sheepskin gilet, just gorgeous & again a timeless & classic addition.
As soon as the Style Adviser suggested this next item I was totally sold. I love how the jumper has been styled with the leather pencil skirt & seeing as I have a fair bit of faux leather hanging in my wardrobe for Autumn, I feel it would be rude not to give it a try & it just may have landed in my basket ;-) Plus I can also see this working with my faux leather loose fit trousers & leopard print slip ons too.
The only thing is which colour to go for as it's also available in the following colours.
Now I've already featured this bag on my previous post on the Style App
(see here) but that was before they sold it in grey.....just stunning & I'm now wondering if I could possibly justify this colour too as I have found my black one so useful already & I don't have a large grey bag!
As you can see the Style Adviser knows I love my bling & thinking ahead to party season these black glitter sandals would be perfect for teaming with a simple little black dress.
How expensive does this necklace look? Certainly a lot more than the £8.75 it's currently on offer for that's for sure...so much so that I have clicked the button & indeed have already worn it a couple of times! Style Adviser I'm blaming you!!!
And I may have also slipped this stunner in too as I think it has a great deal of potential ;-)
See what I mean about the Style Adviser being great with it's suggestions?! I can honestly say I would wear everything that I've featured above.
Now I'm very lucky as Wallis very kindly let me choose an item suggested by the Adviser to style & whilst it wasn't an easy decision on what to pick I eventually decided on the reefer coat as surprise surprise I don't own a navy version & it's a style/colour I've been tempted by the last two winters to add to my collection, having found my black one so useful.
Needless to say the coat doesn't disappoint. It's made from a lovely twill fabric (91% polyester, 5% elastane & 4% wool), has lovely gunmetal matt buttons & is even machine washable. I ordered my normal size, which was the size also suggested by the Style Adviser & it's a perfect fit. Fitted enough to wear with just a shirt underneath but not too snug that I won't be able to add a jumper or extra layer come the cooler months.
As soon as I unpacked it I knew instantly how I wanted to style it & that was dressed down with some distressed jeans, a classic white fitted shirt & a splash of Bet. Which in my view is the perfect combination.
Shirt - Massimo Dutti
Jeans - Zara
All I need now is for the weather to turn a bit colder so I can start wearing it!!!
Finishing with what I'm wearing today.
Blazer - Zara
T-Shirt - Zara
Jeans - Zara
So what do you think of the reefer coat. Is this a style coat you have hanging in your wardrobe & would be lost without come the cooler months? What about the Style Adviser, have you given it a whirl yet? If not why not?! It really is a great little tool that can also be blamed for the odd purchase or two you just simply 'had to have' ;-) Don't forget there's currently up to 50% off for the next two days so if you haven't done so already you should definitely take a peak at what Wallis has to offer.
As always I love receiving & reading your comments & views, so let me know what you think.
Have a great Sunday, I'm off out for a girly day with my mum consisting of a bit of shopping & lots of fun!
See you in the morning.
