No Saturday errands or karate run for me this week...oh no hubby has been left solely in charge with a list of 'to do's' & I'm off out to meet the gorgeous Michelle from My Fashionable 40s for a shop & catch up :-) Which if any of our previous meet ups are anything to go by will mean non stop laughter, chatting, drinking of the odd glass of bubbles & a mad dash for the train home...perfect :-)
So the only dilemma of the day is not how many bubbles to drink but what on earth to wear!!!! After much trying on & a large pile of clothes later I eventually decided on this.
Right off to catch my train :-) The fact we're out tonight at a quiz night & I'll have been drinking bubbles all afternoon is not going to be a good thing....I'm thinking my usefulness as a team member has probably gone from a rating of 1 to minus 10!!! It could be interesting ;-)

Love the combo - works so well. We've just been to Borough Market for provisions for dinner with friends tonight (certainly wouldn't care to share my shopping outfit -very dull). Have fun!

I've just had my hair cut and coloured ready for a glamorous afternoon of crafting with the kids! I may also need alcohol by the end of it!

No such luck, we had to make a mouse and a clock for the smallest one's nursery project! To be honest, crafting is mostly about conflict management in our house - I am blessed with two kids with, ahem, strong personalities and very different ideas about how a grandfather clock should be decorated!! X
