So today is the morning/afternoon! of the night before.....yup I'm talking New Year's Eve. Unfortunately our friends were unable to make it due to the dreaded flu - boo! But we still had a great night full of lots of fun, laughter, cocktails & of course bubbles. Plus fingers crossed as long as everyone is feeling well enough we get to celebrate New Years Eve twice as we've re-arranged for Saturday - yay!
After a late night seeing in 2015 it's a very quiet day for us spent savouring hubbies last day off work (how quickly have these Christmas holidays gone?!!) & perhaps nursing/feeding the odd headache mixed with a hair of the dog ;-)
So a very simple & comfy outfit for slobbing on the sofa.
Jumper - Zara
Bracelets - Ashiana
Jeans - Zara
Boots - Seven Boot Lane
Jumper - Zara Now £39.99
Bracelet - J Crew £125
Jeans - Zara Now £19.99
Boots - Seven Boot Lane £175
So how's everyone else feeling today?! I hope you're not suffering too much & instead can fully remember the events of last night ;-) How about New Year resolutions has anyone made any that they care to share?!!
As with every year I am going to try to savour the important things in life - spending time with those I love & are important in my life, savouring our health & happiness together with trying to remember to enjoy each precious moment. After all you only have to look around you to remember that life is so precious but we can so easily take it for granted.
Right that sofa is calling me but before I head off for some serious horizontal sofa surfing I'd like to wish you & all your families a truly magical, happy & healthy 2015 - here's to a year with all our wishes coming true.

Happy new year, Jane. A perfect outfit for a day on the sofa. We had a quiet one at home as the little Man was in bed. We cooked a meal together and shared some bubbles but no hungover which is a bonus! Lynne xx
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect New Years Eve Lynne. Happy New Year :-)

Happy New Year Kareema :-) We're like you & have changes ahead of us this year as our son takes the remainder of his GCSEs before embarking on the next stage of life. It's frightening how quickly they grow up isn't it?! Enjoy your precious family time before September, although I'm sure you're daughter will come home lots even when she's at university.
