Morning ladies today I'm talking handbags.

Now I'm guessing there's aren't many of us who don't get excited at the thought of a new bag, which for me might have something to do with the joy of filling up the inner pockets & zips with all my incidentals & thinking of the happiness it will give me when I use it.  After all handbags are quite frankly one of life's necessities for carrying round all the essentials us women can't do without.  Plus of course & this is a big plus, they really do have the ability to make a real statement & can take the simplest of outfits up a few levels.

Of course as well as being a necessity they are also an item most of us will never admit to owning enough of - after all with all the different colours, styles & designs around the possibilities are endless.  So today I'm taking a look at a brand whose bags I totally love & am lucky enough to own a few of.

Village England was originally set up by Julia & Eddie, who after spending years working in the world of high fashion decided to create beautiful yet practical accessories in the most honest & ethical way that they could, that were inspired by a uniquely English sense of style.

Made from full grain natural leather the bags are both tactile & hard-wearing with no attention to detail being spared.  So if like me you love a pocket or two you're in luck as every detail is really well thought out.  I actually own four bags from the brand & can vouch for the quality & design.  Every time I use one of my bags I'm at least asked a couple of times where it's from & nine times out of ten people will instinctly stroke the leather.

Simplistic & modern the bags are something that little bit different & to me have a real European feel that offers a lovely touch of luxury just perfect for everyday use.

I was luckily enough to be invited to a sneak preview of their latest collection, pictured above, & I have to say it was love at first sight.  Along with their previous designs the brand has launched some stunning modern classics that have something I love & look for in all my accessories & that's that little bit of extra detailing to make them stand out from the crowd.  Plus they've recently also updated their logo to a more modern & elegant 'V' & 'E', which when I look at it I see the word 'love' & I can't think of a better way to describe the brand.

As I've mentioned above I already own a few pieces from Village England's collection, which are shown in the collage.  I've also been really lucky to have been asked to pick a new addition from their latest collection.

Having seen the bags in the flesh there were lots of beauties that I'd have been delighted to own but there was one stand out piece that I haven't stopped thinking about since I saw the collection back at the beginning of February that hasn't left my mind & it was this one.

Hand embellished with stunning silver & brass studs this limited edition bag is sure to make a real statement.  With two central compartments & interior zipped pockets it also comes with a detachable biker style strap & I just know it's going to add that essential je ne sais pas quoi to my outfits.

If you haven't taken a look at the brand, you can see Village England's full collection here.

Back to today & it's all about effortless Sunday style.  So I'm styling a double breasted top with distressed cigarette jeans & adding that all important detailing with my new bag & studded sandals.

So ladies are you a handbag addict & can never see yourself owning enough?  Perhaps you've already made a purchase from Village England, if so what's got you 'clicking that button'?  Or perhaps you've not previously taken a peek but now have your eye on a new purchase.......dare I say the 'C' word & suggest pointing hubby or your partner in the right direction?!!  As always I'd love to hear your thoughts & know which design is your favourite.

Enjoy your day ladies & as always I'll be back in the morning.
