Morning ladies & happy Monday. Seeing as we're fast approaching the end of November I thought it's time we started talking all things Christmas. So over the course of the next few days I plan on sharing my Christmas gift guides with ideas that will hopefully help & inspire you in getting your Christmas shopping done & dusted & take the headache out of present shopping & trying to think of the perfect gifts to get your loved ones.
Today I'm starting with us ladies, with gifts to cover all budgets & hopefully help you in writing your own wish list to Santa, I shall certainly be forwarding today's post onto hubby ;-) As always just click on any of the above images for further details.
Onto what I'm wearing & I'm kick starting the week with a splash of flower power & my Marks midi dress.
Coat - House of Fraser
Dress - Marks & Spencer
Bag - Iris & Ink
Trainers - Golden Goose
- SHOP MY STYLE -
Coat - Hobbs
Dress - Marks & Spencer
Bag - Tula
Trainers - Marks & Spencer
As a change from my biker jacket I'm styling it with trainers & a classic single breasted coat for a day of doing.
Here's hoping it's a great start to the week for us all. I know we're certainly hoping this week is a better week than last week as unfortunately yesterday we had to make the extremely painful decision to say goodbye to our beloved dog Huxley. A totally heartbreaking day that has left us all shocked & drained with a hole in our hearts & the house so painfully quiet. The only comfort of course being all the joy he brought us over the years & the knowledge that he is no longer suffering, but of course that doesn't stop the heartache or feeling of uselessness at being totally unable to stop everyone's heartbreak.
Still onwards & upwards & of course I great distraction will be Black Friday where there's bound to be lots of offers from all our favourite brands. I'm definitely on a mission to complete my Christmas shopping & take advantage of all the deals plus the added advantage of keeping my mind occupied. Although I don't know about you but I find it can be hard keeping up to date with all the discounts & offers, so I'll be sure to keep you up to date as the week progresses & will be featuring a full list on Friday.
Have a good one & I'll see you in the morning.

Hi Jane, so sorry to hear about your lovely dog...its a painful time and my thoughts are with you. I read your blog every day - it has brought cheer to many a grey morning. Keep up the good work! Deborah x
ReplyDeleteHi Deborah thank you so much for your lovely kind words, they mean the world to me, especially on a day like today. It's amazing how much any pet becomes one of the family & Huxley really was like another baby to me & was constantly by my side. Suffice to say it will take a while to come to terms with & we are missing him dreadfully. The house seems so very quiet & empty but he would not want us to be sad so we must remember all the love & good times we shared & take comfort in the fact it was so quick & sudden.
DeleteHope you're having a good day & thank you so much again.

So sorry to hear about your dog Jane. It's the hardest thing in the world to say goodbye to an animal we have loved, they are as big a part of the family as any human member and deserve our thoughts, prayers and so much love. Sending you sincere condolences at what I know must be a very difficult time, but don't be afraid to take each day as it comes. Soon the memories will bring smiles rather than tears. Fiona xx
ReplyDeleteOh Fiona thank you so much, such lovely words that really do mean the world. It was so sudden & unexpected that I think it's made the parting that much harder but like you say tomorrow is another day & we were incredibly lucky to have him in our lives for so long.
DeleteThank you again.

Awww, I am so sorry about losing Huxley. I am relatively new to your blog and as I have been looking over your past posts, I always enjoy seeing him posing in your outdoor shots. I have two dogs -- Labradoodles -- and I would be lost without them. My heart goes out to you and your family, losing a pet leaves a big hole in your heart and your family.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Brenda, he really was like another child & one we're missing so dearly at the moment. Your words mean such a lot. Give your Labradoodles a big cuddle from me.
