Happy Sunday ladies, so we're on the last few days countdown till we get off on holiday & I know a lot of you will also be counting down & wondering what to pack.  So today I thought I'd share with you what I'm planning on taking this year as well as a few handy travelling tips.

So lets start with  what I'm planning on packing & firstly beachwear.  Which lets face it, if you're going somewhere hot & sunny is probably what you'll spend the most time wearing.

As always just click on any of the images for further details.  Plus don't forget if you're still on the look out for some new bits & pieces then there's still 15% off everything over at Coco Bay, just remember to use discount code MID1518 at checkout.

Day Wear

1  no. sun hat - see here *
4 no. sundresses - see here * & similar herehere & here
1 no. pair of shorts - similar here
2 no. sun tops - see here * & similar here
2 no. pairs of sandals - similar here & here

Moving onto daywear next.  Now depending on what type of holiday & where you're staying will depend just how much daywear you actually need.  If you're self catering & don't plan on straying far you can probably get away with a couple of sundresses.  We stay in a hotel where people tend to dress for breakfast as opposed to go down in swimwear & beach cover ups so this is what I'm planning on packing.

Evening Wear

7 no. dresses - see similar herehereherehereherehere & here
3 no. clutches - see similar herehere & here
3 no. pairs of shoes - see similar herehere & here

And finally evening wear.  Personally I find it so much easier & quicker to pack one pieces - whether this be dresses or jumpsuits.  Plus of course they're generally cooler to wear as you don't have any tight waistbands.

In terms of packing tips take various different coloured accessories & jewellery to change your looks up, a few clutches & then for shoes you should be able to just take a pair of flip flops, a pair of wedge espadrilles & then a couple of pairs of neutral flat sandals, which let's face it are so much more comfortable to wear in the heat.

My top tip for packing sun hats is to place them brim upwards in the middle of your case, fill with pants, socks etc & then pack around the hat & you should find that it arrives intact!

Finally in terms of clothing, dresses for day & evening are so much easier to take & instead of just throwing a load of bits & pieces in the suitcase try & pack outfits.  That way you'll only take what you need & it will make packing & unpacking a lot quicker & easier not to mention reduce your washing & ironing pile once back home :-)

Oh & even if you think you're not taking that much we can all still manage on far less than we take, like I mentioned earlier it's swimwear we tend to wear the most.

Moving onto today's outfit & it's another maxi skirt combo from me.  With a simple lace trim camisole that just so happens to be exact same colour as my skirt (cue happy dance when I discovered this fact!) & my ever useful biker & trainers.

The perfect outfit for all weathers, which is a good thing considering the sun has disappeared & it looks like it's going to be raining all day!

Enjoy your day ladies & as always I'll be back in the morning.
