Happy Thursday ladies. Today's outfit is centred round a new piece I've been sent from Hush, which is something I've had my eye on for a while. Being a jacket-a-holic & also loving a biker it's probably not going to come as any surprise that I've been keen to try this baby out & I have to say it doesn't disappoint.
Beautiful soft leather with a great cut that rocks a little bit of attitude in a classic understated way this biker jacket is perfect if you want something you can simply throw on & go. I'm wearing the grey leather version, which is a lot softer than a black jacket, although it does also come in black & a pale blush pink. However, unusually for Hush I've gone with my normal size & it's not too big but equally it should allow a few layers to be worn underneath come winter without it feeling too tight & restricted on the arms.

Needless to say for it's first outing it's not going to be on for long due to the stunning summer we're currently enjoying but it's a great transitional piece that you'll find yourself reaching for throughout the year. Today I've teamed it with a pretty midi white broderie anglaise dress & then picked up on the grey with my accessories. Compared to my other biker jackets the lapels on this one are a little wider, which I love as it gives the jacket that little bit more sass & attitude.
I've also been lucky enough to receive a couple of extra new pieces for our summer holiday that I'm looking forward to breaking out when we're away next week & just had to share with you now. The basket is perfect for use both to travel & poolside, not to mention of an evening & the top has such pretty detailing & is lovely & light to wear in the heat. I went with a size 6 in this & the fit is spot on.
