Morning ladies & happy Thursday.  Today I wanted to share with you the second investment piece I've chosen from my collaboration with Peter Hahn & that's this navy silk skirt.  

Definitely a love at first sight moment when I spotted this on their website & a piece of clothing I've been on the lookout for a few years now.  I have a black crepe maxi skirt that is getting on for 20 years old that I still love as much now as the day I bought it & it's something I wear all year round but I've never been able to find anything to replicate it in navy - until now!

This 100% silk skirt is beautifully cut with real 'swish' factor, falls & drapes beautifully & is designed & cut to flatter & makes a great investment piece that will bring you years of joy.  

Available from a size 10 & above I was a little worried that this would be too big on me (as I'm generally a UK 8).  In fact when I opened the box & saw that the skirt was just as stunning as I'd hoped for I almost didn't want to try it on in case it didn't fit.  Luckily it falls just how I prefer to wear my skirts.  Yes it's a little loose on the waist but that means it drops just a little lower, giving me the length that I love & doesn't look too loose on the hips - phew!

It's a great wardrobe staple that will take you from day to night.  Team with a cashmere knit as I have today for effortless everyday style or pair with heels & a halterneck top for an evening out.
