Morning ladies, I can't believe that the last month has flown by so quickly & it's already time to take a look at my favourite pieces from Baukjen's February drop!

As always it doesn't disappoint & there are lots of stunning timeless pieces that are perfect for breathing new life into old wardrobe favourites.  

So let's jump straight in with their gorgeous Bella Knitted Vest.  I just love this kind of knitwear for layering over leather leggings & think the soft denim shade is perfect for pairing with all our wardrobe neutrals.  For me I'd layer under a shacket or blazer whilst waiting for temperatures to rise, as it's ideal for adding a layer of warmth without bulking you out at the arms.

For my second pick I just had to feature this gorgeous cardigan.  I absolutely love the muted magenta shade that would add a pop of colour to any wardrobe/outfit but in an understated elegant way.

Now if you love a stripe or two, then you're going to find it particularly hard to resist 'clicking the button' this month, as in their latest collection Baukjen had got some timeless beauties.  Starting with this  stripe sweatshirt in classic navy & white.  I have a similar sweatshirt but in white & black from their collection last year & it's been worn so much.  Super soft with a relaxed fit that can be dressed up or down & layered under a biker/denim jacket or blazer not to mention teamed with joggers for a cosy day at home.

Talking of jackets their Shailene Army Jacket would make a great lightweight addition for Spring.  Pair with jeans/chinos & a lightweight knit/tee or wear belted with a maxi dress/skirt.

My next pick is a jacket that I was sent last year in khaki & has now been re-released in the above camouflage print.  For me it has to be the perfect shacket.  Made from soft cotton that is the ideal weight (not too thick that it feels stiff to wear & equally not to thin that there's no warmth) & a great cut & design too.  I found myself reaching for in preference of my blazers last Spring, which if you know me says a lot!  Needless to say I love the camouflage version for this Spring, which would look great when worn with stripes but if you are on the lookout for a plain version then they also re-released the jacket in other colours here.

Another great piece to be re-released this season is their Emmanuelle Top, which I have in the white & black version.  Again something that I found myself wearing throughout Spring & Summer, so much so I'm tempted by the new navy & white version above or even the black & white version that's available here.  After all we can never have enough stripes can we & I firmly believe that if you find an item that works well for you & you wear a lot then it's definitely worth investing in different colour ways if available.

Denim shirts are another wardrobe staple & I just love Baukjen's take on the classic with their Riley Blouse.  Needless to say it had me at the detailing with it's frill collar & pin tuck cuffs.  Plus as it's made from tencel it will drape beautifully not to mention feel a lot softer than denim.

As you know I have a huge love of timeless pieces, which is just one of the many reasons why I love Baukjen.  I strongly believe that if you have classic, timeless pieces hanging in your wardrobe you'll always have something to wear no matter what the occasion.   So a great pair of well cut trousers that are designed to flatter & made from a good quality fabric are essential.  I think finding trousers that tick all these boxes & don't cost a fortune can be difficult but for me Baukjen's Tate Slim Chinos are perfect, not to mention also available in khaki here.

As you would expect from Baukjen their February drop has lots of pretty flattering dresses but for me it was love at first sight when I spotted their Colette Dress.  I just love everything about this - the colour, pattern & of course the design.  It looks very similar to a polka dot dress I received last year that I have to say was incredibly flattering.  How gorgeous will this dress look when teamed with a denim jacket & straw basket in the Spring?

For my final pick I'm finishing with a classic accessory - the leather tan belt.  Pair with jeans, chinos, cigarette pants, dresses, skirts & even blazers the list goes on & on & of course will never not be in style.  Plus with all things leather it will just get better & better with age & wear.

So what have I chosen to style this month?  Well it's never a decision that gets any easier but in the end I chose their Drake Organic Utility Jacket, the Tate Organic Slim Chino & their Oralie Cargo Pant.

I'm wearing my normal size in the chinos & they fit perfectly.  I love the tapered/slim leg design & can't stop stroking the brushed cotton fabric.  As I mentioned earlier a true wardrobe classic that you'll love wearing year after year, season after season.

Again I've gone with my normal size in the Drake Organic Utility Jacket jacket.  As the fit is perfect for fitting a semi thick knit underneath but equally when worn with a simple tee it doesn't look too big.  Plus like my other Drake jacket I love that you can add a little definition with the inner drawstring waist & of course I just love the epaulette detailing.  I'll be sharing an outfit post featuring the jacket as soon as it's back in stock.

Finally for the cargo pants I've again gone with my normal size.  These are not only super flattering but also so soft to the touch as like the chinos they're made from brushed cotton & have just the right amount of stretch to make them incredibly comfy to wear.
